Hey guys,
I am currently in the middle of developing a project for EVE.
There are a few new factors involved in this project that you have not seen before.
Because of this, I am attempting to get a show of hands to figure out how viable a certain implementation of the idea is.
If you properly fill out the following survey, which should only take a few seconds, I will gladly send you a whole 10 million ISK for your time!
Note that all of these questions directly relate to the implementation of the project.
This is to get an assessment of what it will take to get people to use applications in new and interesting ways, and how much of a nuisance it may seem to them.
Please write your answer below the question.
--
1. Do you know what the In Game Browser (IGB) is?
2. How often do you use the IGB?
3. When you do use the IGB, how long does it typically stay open? (If applicable)
4. If an application existed that required your IGB to stay open during the entire duration of your EVE session, would you consider this a downside or a turnoff to using that application? (note that the IGB can be minimized and left alone. It just has to be open to a certain page.)
5. Does your answer to question 4 change if there is ISK involved? If the site is extremely innovative? If you enjoy the features that are offered?
6. Do you run EVE in windowed mode?
7. How often do you alt-tab out of EVE to view forums, websites, instant messengers, and other applications?
8. Do you want 10 million ISK for filling out this survey?
--
Thanks in advance!

10 mil is peanuts.
Anyone who has followed my history knows I have substantially more than that.
This will help me out a lot, someone give a shot and I have no problem proving this is an honest offering.

Also note on that image, RODSY received 400 MILLION ISK for answering no, on question 8.

I have to go to the store.
If you haven't received money yet, that's because it takes forever to do and there's a lot of posts.
Back in a bit.

This is so sad.
What a sad act of selfishness.
As you can see on page 3(or somewhere early on), I was only offering it to the first 150 people or so.
You filled the survey out, and since you didn't get your petty cash, you deleted it?
How old are you, 12?
The project that is is being done before (which is not the EVE League, that is something else I was also sharing) will actually be giving out quite a bit of ISK, very often.
Why waste all the funds for it on the survey when there will be a lot more fun to be had in the game itself?
I especially love some of the individuals who are double and triple posting with alts that were made TODAY. All you did was prevent others from getting a chance to participate and enjoy themselves.
Some of the noob alts are even complaining they didn't receive ISK.
Of course not everyone is going to get ISK.
I got to as many people as I could before I burnt out and realize most people are just pieces of trash that are doing everything can to exploit the offer.
Instead of enjoying a generous offer, we ditch all fundamentals and do everything we can to focus on greed and selfishness.
Anyone who fills this survey out and then deletes it afterward because they have the mentality of a 9 year old boy is absolutely sad, selfish scum.
It's too bad many individuals don't realize that all of the survey's are being logged down into a database, WITH the names associated with them.
If you understood how much ISK I have to throw around and the nature of what I am doing here, you'd realize that you're setting yourself up for something quite lucrative if you pursue it in the future.
It's a shame the majority of you are such empty individuals.
I plan to make even larger efforts to reward those who seem to be half-way decent individuals in a hope that all the other people stay out of the way, or at least pretend to have any values.
Seeing how this is being received is incredibly discouraging.

It's been more than 50 replies since then.
So clearly that leaves no reason at all to be a decent person and contribute to something that takes literally no effort at all?
Oh ok.
Never do anything for anyone unless they have something for you in return.

Thanks for all of the input so far.
I've been collecting data and soon we will have some interesting statistics from the results.

Good stuff guys.
Thanks for all the data.
Taking awhile to really put it all together but there is definitely a lot here to work with.

A few responses to some of the comments in the thread: YES, I am in fact still taking the survey results.
YES, I am in fact a scammer. (No, I am not a corp scammer, and I left my previous corp on very good terms. Please, get your facts straight.)
To anyone here who is trying to make people aware that their petty 10 mil will not be showing up in their wallet any time soon: Don't you have anything better to do? All you are doing is giving the survey more life, and proving how little of a life you have.
For the individuals that are erasing their surveys after realizing 10 mil won't be coming to them: The few of you that are so selfish to do this will see in time that those who are a little more generous will reap the benefits in the near future as a result of their contributions.
I am most definitely noting down the individuals that are so self-important that they would erase their contributions in a tissy-fit over 10 million ISK.
And, finally: Those of you who note any concern of me running out of ISK: I currently have at my disposal multiple hundreds of billions of ISK.
I know this is hard to believe, and the screenshot viewable in my first post suggests otherwise, but there is a very good reason for why my ISK is not all liquid, or just sitting on this character.
If you really need proof of my wealth, you'll notice I continually transfer funds into my account as needed. And I really don't think anyone poorer than myself would be as openly willing to give out large sums of ISK--which is ultimately what this project is leading up to.
Once again, thanks everyone.
I can absolutely assure you that this survey has helped substantially, and the soon-to-be-launched project (not the EVE league) will be greatly affected by these results.
Regards,
