Elijah Ghost Pillowsoft	Posted - 2008.06.16 03:23:00 - [1] I know there's been lots of spam about caldari killing RA caps and the Gallente killing a CH archon, but a pheonix kill was made by the Gallente federation against a caldari pilot. Is this the first Faction-orientated capital ship to be taken down? They gave me nightmares and in return I became their own.

Simply put, half these guys have never fired a shot, so yes, they will get excited about a cap ship dying, as most of them have NEVER SEEN ONE, much less seen one die. They are not all old bitter vets like you, perhaps if you got out and had some fun with them, you would know what its about. I've been fighting in 0.0 for a good bit now, and I have never seen such happy people while dying. They love it. They love the battles, the losses, and they don't give a damn about the pretty pixlated ships they loose, and the ones they kill are some of their first, so why don't you crawl back under your bridge and let them have their fun?

Almost a week in and all I hear about are carrier kills and there first brush with death. It makes me nastalgic(sp) of the old times before pos's and a downed raven was thread worthy. The absolute excitement of eve has been lost in recent months if not years. When it becomes a "obligation" instead of "entertainment" as null sec can be for most then you become cynical and jaded. I would even go as far as to say jeoulous that even though you kill ravens on a daily basis someone can kill one and have complete joy and talk about it for weeks. I would suggest taking a alt and giving it a try im pulling for my caldari bretheren in there struggle with the other evil races in "our" galaxy. go get em and gl' -The Shocker
