Dosgar Rude Boys Pirate Coalition	Posted - 2008.06.17 14:43:00 - [1] What it is I'm not sure if the community will use it but basically I'm linking player-made EVE videos from a little blog that is intended to give people one place they need to look when searching for videos of a specific ship in action Basically, the pages are sorted by Ship Class and then link to threads/videos sorted by Race > Ship Name. So if someone's looking for a some solo Ishtar action, all they'd have to do would be click 'Heavy Assault Cruisers', then scroll down until they find 'Ishtar' under the Gallente heading. Hopefully with some useful community contributions, ie. links to past videos you feel should be indexed), the blog will grow into a comprehensive resource that will help people searching for videos of a specific ship. Categories are added and some threads have been linked. Take a look see here What I need Primarily it's intended to link solo/small gang PVP videos but has categories for machinima and large fleet battles, with the option of adding extra categories if people feel there is a need. I'd really appreciate if people could link me threads of past videos that are worth being linked, either in game via evemail or by leaving a comment on the blog. Details are on the main page. Replies in this thread may be lost in spam/flames but I'll do my best to add any that are linked here. There's a lot of empty categories at the minute, so please take a quick look if you can and point me in the direction of videos of ships that are missing. Feedback is welcomed, flames not so much but if you must... ---

It's a fantastic idea you have indexing everything. These aren't criticisms, just some more ideas to help you! Good suggestions, and all feedback is welcomed :) I'll look into wordpress as suggested and see about adding tags and such like. I agree that it would be better to be able to distinguish between videos of just 1 ship, and videos of 2 or more easily. ---

I'll find teh links now and add them. Chribba has a similar site at www.eve-videos.com but the videos aren't categorised by ship (though they are sortable). I'd like people to have the ability to add their own videos, but that's something I'd have to work on.
