A few days after downloading the new Expansion my system will run a memory dump while playing Eve. The only changes I have made to my system was just the installation of the Expansion.
I have ensured that my RAM is not defective, I can run other more demanding games, have ensured there is no conflicts, and have re-installed Eve.
I believe there is some sort of memory leak with Eve that is causing this. Running Eve in Safe Mode has had the same results.
My system is as follows:
E6400 @ 3GHZ 4 x 512MB DDR2-800 SLI RAM @ 4-4-4-12 nVidia 680i SLI Chipset w/ updated BIOS 8800GT 512MB GDDR3 (I am going to try the most updated drivers and will report results) Windows XP MediaCenter 32bit SP3
If anyone has any ideas please let me know. I appreciate your time.

Reset it to stock and see if you have the same issue.
I had a similar problem even though my system was Memtest and Orthos stable for 24 hours, EvE would happily kill it. Knocked the overclock down a little and all was well.
Worth a shot

Well I now have the latest graphics and audio drivers. I also checked switching to stock clocks and that didn't work.
I also noticed that staying in a station the game is stable, if I move outside the station I will crash within a few minutes.

Disable hardware acceleration in the audio settings, or turn audio off. :) ----

I just wanted to let you all know what has happened.
According to CCP I needed to disable the audio driver hardware acceleration and experiment until it works. They also said to turn off any EAX support.
What I have found is when I turned on 5.1 surround using the latest drivers with a Realtek HD IC for my new headphones, it made Eve mad
Right now I have hardware audio turned off in-game and when I play Eve I switch from 5.1 to stereo. Thankfully my CPU can handle the audio without a sweat.
I know a few guys who run 7.1 with Eve and have no problems. We have come to the conclusion that its the crappy integrated audio. Of course since I got the headphones the next purchase is was going to be a sound card anyway.
On another note, don't come back and try to tell me that the Realtek HD is great. Yes its extremely good for Stereo and for playing a good number of games, but it will never replace dedicated audio.
