Furb, the point is that they warped to us, and they wanted the fight also, just because i locked first due to being in a smaller ship, and that they didn't shoot me, but my friend, then i take the full sec hit. It wasn't pirating, this was PvP that was wanted by both sides.
-5 in 1 hr you say is hard? it isn't. if you pod you could pull it off in half that time in a popular place. I went from -1 to -5 in 1 day ganking battleships and BC only in lowsec, and even then it was only 6-7 kills.
Games like WoW from what i hear get rewards for pvp? maybe wrong due to the fact i never played it, but that is what i heard.
And no don;t say go play WoW casue it is **** :) "Spartans were not ***" |

You can speed up the rate at which you gain sec status by ratting in multiple systems.
IIRC, the algorithm for sec status gains is that you only get one sec status gain every 15 minutes, equal to the largest rat you have popped in that 15 minutes. However, this 15 minute timer is erased everytime you change sessions. So the fastest way to gain sec status would be to 0.0 rat, kill a BS in System A, then jump to System B, kill a BS, then jump to System C, kill a BS, then jump to System D, kill a BS. Hopefully by this time, the 15 minute timer on System A has expired and you can return to System A and start the cycle anew.
I haven't tested it myself, as I don't really pirate, but I hope this helps.

Isn't caldari provisions a NPC corp? Leave that, and get into the corp your friends are in, then you won't get sec status hits if they are attacked. As simple as that. Unless of course you are staying in an NPC corp to avoid war decs, which I dunno why you would be doing that if you are looking for PvP.
You could also get your standings up with some milita. There are alot of targets to kill in Faction Warfare.

There is lots of pvp that does not give you sec hits...
"I want to be a pirate but i dont want any of the bad stuff that goes with it"
Find some 0.0 action... or pirate in 0.0 its possible, but the targets sometimes are not as soft and you may actually get hunted down.
I am all for pirates (i have only done it a few times when i was very new), however i am not all for pirates that want to be above the law. You dont want sec hits then dont attack things that give you sec hits, very simple.
And being in caldari provisions you are not even man enough to back up your ganks with something that can be wardeced by the people you gank. "I dont want to be penalized for gankeing people and i dont want them to be able to come after me easily, i want easy kills for no cost!"
And wow is not pvp... dieing means nothing. you can kill me in an ibis a Million times over and i wont care.

i must say, some of the people here who are replying don't have a clue. Go and lowsec PVP, not pirate and see how it turns out. Only way to stop the sec hits is baiting, and i don;t like to engage on their terms.
As for me being in an NPC corp it has nothing to do with wars, in fact when i do get my sec back the first thing i will want is wars. I have never been afraid of a fight, and my noob corp status just means i am in between corps.

Doing this kinda post, like you do on every other thread is just old. Once maybe funny, but when you do it with every post it's just not that good anymore.
And FW is not what i am after, from what i see it looks incredibly bad.

See, it's not pirating, it's Surprise PVP!
Just like RL surprise buttsecks can lead to unpleasant consequences, in game surprise PVP can as well.

A. Crying because you're being an ******* and having to work really hard to prove you're not? amazing. B. If you're not just ganking people who don't want to pvp, then it's your own fault for not being in a war. If both corps want to pvp the hell out of eachother, all they have to do is click that little box that says "mutual war" (it's been awhile since i've been a ceo and able to declare wars, but i'm pretty sure it's still there) so that neither side pays a cost to keep the war going.
If you're just trying to kill people that don't want to fight you, see point "A" again. good game
