Autopilot warp to zero for freighters only?
Warping long distances in freighters is absolute torture. Not only does the ship, sometimes take over 2 minutes to align, but then it only warps at 0.75au. Then you have repeat this each place you warp to.
If you autopilot your looking at sub warps speeds of 80 ms, which is like moving at 2 x snail speed.
Going in excess of 20 jumps manually using warp to 0, and your no longer talking minutes of travel, now its hours of torture.
I would like to hear/read your opinions on this. . Dasfry, CEO Demios Corporation

It's EVE-Online, not AFK-Online. Get all your agility related skills maxed and maybe even get some agility implants if you think the freigther is too slow to align.

Dude, you're asking for so much mockery... just to let you know.
Once upon a time, there was no such thing as "Warp to 0". Everywhere you went, you ended up 15km away. So people started making insane amounts of bookmarks, placing them 15km behind where they wanted to be. Then attempting to warp 15km PAST where you wanted to be, actually put you on target.
CCP eventually took the hint, and made it possible to manually Warp to 0, and the peasants rejoiced. But the Autopilot was never told about this new addition. And since then, Pirates have delighted in attacking unattended ships as they slowly motor their way that last 15km.
That's where the mockery will come from. Pirates don't like fair fights. They prefer rookie Miners in a field by themselves, or rookies in general who aren't smart enough not to steal from jet cans. And they especially like picking on AP haulers that show up 15km out, making it obvious that no one is driving the thing.
Autopilot is supposed to be a nice little convenience, like a mint on your pillow. But it shouldn't be so convenient that people have no reason to fly manually ever again. If you want to avoid the 15km trek, then set Warp yourself. You can turn AP on, and it'll immediately Jump you as soon as you're in range. Then manually Warp again, and set AP for the next Jump. You may thing that's a lot of manual/AP/manual/AP... and you're right. So just do it yourself, and you'll be just fine.

One of the downsides of using a Freighter is that it takes a long time to do anything. It's intentional. You want to go faster, you have to use a smaller ship.
(Of course, you will notice that if you try to haul a Freighter's worth of cargo using a smaller ship, you will see that it takes about as much time to make multiple, fast trips than a single, long one.)
When flying a Freighter, have a good book handy. |

You can't rig or mod a freighter. It's just big and slow on purpose.
Now to the OP.
Play the dang game you are playing. You want fantastic wealth for no personal effort? Fine but then you risk suicide gank and it takes longer. You want it relativly risk free, also fine, but you have to actually play the game. You don't like playing that part of the game, also fine, quit mucking about with the market and use some of that wealth to buy and fit a ship, fly into lowsec and blast someone.
Still think it takes too long? Run windowed mode use some of the isk for a 2nd account and web your monster for near insta-align & warp.
Begging for a game mechanic change is pointless. It will never happen.
