hey all, ive been disconnected from Eve a few times at nite, but just now, for like the past freaking half hour, ive been trying to log in, idk what is going on, but it seems everytime i start talking w/ someone, it disconnects me, this is a really bad time, lol were trying to start up a corp, but its not gona work if i keep getting disconnected
any helps plz would be GREATLY appreciated

I been disconnect 4 times in the past 20 minutes. Multiple people in the Help channel have been experiencing the same problem.

yup, did a tracert to the servers, and everything was good until it hit up the llnw.net gateway.

Any chance you installed the optional patch? Just curious to see if that could have cause the problem.

yes, in fact i did install the "patch" but then i kept getting dc'ed so i uninstalled it, then i re connected to see if that would fix it, and i got disconnected quicker! it sucks, im trying to help my friend start up another corp, but keep getting dc'ed
ive been trying for like a half hour, like 6 times, each time quicker and quicker

I haven't installed the patch, but I know of 4 people now that did install it and it didn't fix what it was supposed to fix. Another awesome QA job brought to you by CCP(Cheap Crappy Productions).

So, which one does CCP use? Cause I'm on AT&T and having the disconnect problem as well. This is getting boring real quick, and that's not a good thing.

 Yea just had my 7th one today I'm trying to do lvl 3s and getting dc in the middle of those aren't fun. I know it's not my ISP and I don't think it's the patch. Where's the Devs or ISO why haven't they responded to this. I've talked to people around and it seems to be US only. Someone from Arkansaw, Cali, Ohio, and me in Tennesse have all been DC regularly. I've had two DC in the character selction screen. CCP and you PLEASE get on top of this.

It's worldwide, Corp mates in UK, NZ and Bulgaria have been disconectting on a regular basis as well.
Devs/GM please respond. Or GM move this to the proper channel for a responce please.

oh ok worldwide then hmm. I just had another one. I'd like to know if CCP knows about this or what. I'd like to know somethings being done PLEASE let us know. The guy from cali got kicked and Two people in texas also. |

I have also had this problem, even though I have not installed the optional patch. I hope CCP fixes this soon as it is getting really really annoying. |

Anyway, I think this is proof that all the CCP people used to work for OSI (Ultima Online). They had exactly the same stuff happen ALL the time. Constant disconnects due to shoddy programming and then happily blaming it on the providers.

Um, no. I saw this while investigating spotty connections to particular websites, and then saw the connection when I came home and got dropped from eve.

ItÆs NOT the patch. I didnÆt install it and IÆm having the same issues.
ThereÆs no reason to think that itÆs even a problem with the Eve servers. It could easily be a problem with some leg of the Internet. And from what I could tell from that link Tyaleia posted thatÆs probably the case.
