New Eden Research (NER) is an alliance dedicated to providing industrialists with a fast and reliable way of conducting ME and PE research.
How does it work?
Several corps in the alliance have POS-based labs, which have been configured to allow alliance usage. A researcher within the alliance can make use of the labs simply by docking on one of the stations in the system, renting a corp office, and remotely managing research jobs from there, making use of the Scientific Networking skill.
The procedure is fully automatic, and works just like it would with NPC research labs, except a player gets paid for the research instead of an NPC, you don't have to wait weeks for a free slot, and on top of that, the labs are 25% faster than the NPC equivalent.
How much does it cost?
Since we have several corporations providing the lab service, prices can vary slightly from one to another. You can check our prices per location here. Note that only ME and PE prices exist, because those are the only lab types that work through the alliance.
In addition to the lab prices, there's a recurring fee of 10 million ISK per six months per corp (or 50 million per POS corp), to cover the alliance's maintenance fee.
How do I sign up for your services?
1. First, you need to send an application to join the alliance by going to Corporation -> Alliance -> Rankings and right-clicking New Eden Alliance, selecting the "apply to join" option. Then send Arushia a mail stating that you wish to join.
For POS corps: If you wish to join as a lab provider, contact Arushia prior to sending the application or ISK, as lab corps are accepted on a case-by-case basis, but seldom refused.
2. Once inside the alliance, choose a system from our lab list as your base of operations and rent an office there at one of the stations.
3. Put the BPOs in the office hangar and select a type of research to perform. (To research you'll need Scientific Networking level 1)
4. When selecting the installation to research from, set Range as "Current Solarsystem" and Type as "Alliance". The alliance labs will then show up on the list, select them as you would with NPC labs. Once research is done, the BPOs will appear back at your corp hangar, researched.
How do I pay?
Monthly reminder emails will be sent through alliance mail with instructions. Your fees are due at the end of the first month.

How about those who don't wish to join your alliances to get access to the labs?
I know we can't use them ourselves, but can you provide collateral for our BPOs, then when done research you contract them back to use for the collateral and the service fee?

Therefore if you wish to do Copy or Invent you will need to discuss access with a tower owner or arrange for one to do the jobs for a fee for you. |

POS corps are those that own the starbases and their labs. Research corps are the corps that use those labs.

Unfortunately, game mechanics do not allow the rental of manufacturing (or copy) slots to non-corp members.
That said, go far enough from trade hubs and you should be able to find queue-free manufacturing slots in high-sec. They're not as rare as research slots.
