Just woundering how much the Lottery ship is worth.
I have heard that some people have gotten a ship like what the are giving away before (although I'm not sure about when or how). I don't know if a ship like this was ever sold or not, but I was curious as to how much people would pay for one if the thing wound up for sale?

its so unique and so expensive that you'd better never take it into an asteroid belt or anywhere where dangers lurk :) Just fly around with it in empire and have noobs pay you to orbit you ----------------------------------------------- Watch my leet everchanging dynamic signature \o/ http://www.games-on.nl/~cu2moro/evesigphp/icon.php?blaat=.GIF |

Err...
Actually... it's about 100 Million ISK give or take a couple. And people take them out into asteroid belts all the time

I think the original poster is refering to the Imperial Apocalypse being sponsored in the BIG lottery.
I promise you it would sell for a LOT higher than 100m if that went on action. No doubt about that at all. There is a lot of rich people in Eve - wouldnt be surpriced if an auction went to +1 billion isk.

You didn't take the word "Imperial" in front of "Apocalypse" in account, did you? This will be the fifth Imperial Apocalypse to be availible, the first four being the ones given to the Amarr champions.

It's a badass shiny silver color and and a buttload more armor and other improved states over the standard Apoc.

the current owners wont sell theirs, and the chances of more coming into play are next to NILL, the only reason I think CCP is giving out one more is to offset the one Grikl lost.. I guess they want only 4 to exist or something
with that said, even an offer of 10bil isk would be turned down
isk is isk, you lose it, you get more, translates to time.. but one of these babies you could never aquire just by spending more time in the game ;)

Tho I'd like to get my hands on a Silver Magnate... hmm.
As for the worth of the imperial apoc, its worth whatever people are willing to pay for it. ------- Your 425mm Prototype I Gauss Gun perfectly strikes Guardian Enforcer, wrecking for 827.3 damage. |

my guess is that the winner of the cash might buy the apoc off that winner... cash is better though.
I roleplay... there is this computer game called "Earth - The First Genesis" where i play a character in the early 21st century. |

If i'd win the lottery i'd keep the Imperial Apoc for sure. My current normal Apoc would be the mining ship and the Imperial Apoc would do the npc hunting / pvp actions.
I'll probably be a prime target for the enemy, but imo its just a waste to let it collect dust in a hangar or go mine with it instead. Should make someone's movies more interesting when it'll blow up one day, but my estimation is that whoever wins it will probably not use it a lot. Such a shame really... -------

Just to put somwhat of a pricetag on an imperial apoc.
I'd personally consider anyone selling it for just one billion a fool the likes of which must be rare.
If I'd win it I'd fly it (somehwere veeery safe), and probably keep it. Altho I could imagine that there are people that could make an offer I coulndt refuse. That would be the guy that wins the pot of the lottery, assuming it goes over 5 billion.

Grikl wasn't the only one who lost an Imperial Apoc, Ecliptical lost his too. And how do you know CCP gave the Imperial Apoc to BIG and not one of the other people who won one, Eh DC?

Ecliptical didn't lose his Imperial Apocalypse.
I'd say an imp apoc is worth 10 billion. But I really doubt anyone in MASS would sell theirs for that.

Yes, Ecliptical did lose an Imperial Apoc Tyrrax... Ask him if you can pull him away from Lineage IIÖ ... And you lost a Gold Magnate!

You wouldn't sell it for 10 billion? Well, sure, having that ship would be awesome. Having to train to fly apocs, get very high skills for that, knowing how to get a near-perfect (imperial) apoc setup before using it, nah. I'd rather have the isk to lose 100 uninsured battleships

Dude, you've said this to me before, and at the time I did ask him, he said no and showed it to me. He even undocked in it. (This is when I bought the gold magnate). I have screenshots of it.
Either you're wrong, he lost it since then (after you claimed he had lost it) or he's lying and it's someone else's Imperial Apoc he had there that he showed me.

If that's addressed at me then no I wouldn't sell it for 10 billion, I might buy it tho if given the chance and I wasn't broke after the last expensive toy I bought (Note, about 2-3 weeks ago Ecliptical told me he wouldn't sell his for 10 billion and the other Imperial Apoc owners wouldn't either.)
