For the selfish muppets out there... stop crying about a nano nerf. It's already the most used pvp option for a reason. IT'S TOO UNBALANCED. Ewar was nerfed when you all whined... Nos was nerfed when you all whined... the Drakes passive tank was nerfed when you all whined... they only ones for nanos are the one for GANKAGE. That tells you a lot about the situation. It's not a pvp tactic. It's a flawed and exploited game mechanic... its broken. Small ships going fast is fine... nano all you want. Using a big ship to be an interceptor is lame. There are 4 races and a ton of ships... counters for the mass of nanos should not be another mass of nanos. It doesn't feed Eve very well. And if you want to fly fast, go play Need For Speed and leave this game. Eve is about change, and its constantly changing... peopel adapt. When a tactic becomes too overbearing, CCP needs to modify and change. So Eve can live long and be new, fresh, and innovative.

Once a nano nerf would be implemented, what would you say to all the people that spent months on end training to fly these ships?
I tell them tough ****. Every nerf has people who are going to cry. Just look at the t2 fiascos and now invention. So, when a nerf comes to nanos... I say, "tough ****". You can fly a ceptor fast.

Bottom line... nano fleets are made to gank 1 or 2 players. To me that is not pvp, that's a grief fest with chestpoppers looking for an ego trip. --------------------------------- Pithecanthropus erectus, a name derived from Greek and Latin roots meaning upright ape-man. |
