DISCLAIMER: This thread is purely ficticious, and has no baring on or spoliers for actually EVE Live server game play.
The Problem: -
The developers have decided to write Jita out of the EVE Universe. They have written the following plot, with factional warfare to fit in with the current game time frame and plot.
"The Gallente and Minmatar join forces jumping the Federation Navy Titan into Jita along with a grouped fleet of Minmatar and Gallente vessels. Multiple doomsday devises and Capital barrages devastate the onces crowded system into a desolate wasteland. Few stations remain.
The fleets clear out of the system, leaving the un-militia ships in a post war-torn system with no law. Jita is now 0.0, as concord have moved out of the system and given notice of 24 hours before they destroy the stargates into system."
The Question: -
What would you do as an un-militia pilot in Post-War Jita 0.0, with 24 hours to burn and no sec penalization. Few stations remain, alowing you to dock and buy Items already on the market. Scared industrialists will be trying to leave system with there valuable assets.
You have 24 hours...

Move to Motsu or wherever the Jita replacement would be. Good think I do all of my manufacturing near Jita, not in it, so that wouldn't be a problem.

......move all my trade goods one jump to sobaseki and sell them there and forget that jita ever exsisted, jita problems are a creation of players not devs

Wasn't there a similar statement from CCP last year? Something about transporting all assets to surrounding systems, and making Jita go nova. Even heard hints of it being turned into video footage. That's as much as i can remember, though.

Oh, and to answer the question: Nothing. I live in 0.0 and occasionally vacation in Aunia. Only fools go to Jita.

Move to the new lag hub, which isn't likely to have its own dedicated machine like Jita does because CCP can't predict where it will turn up. Actually, we would probably get multiple Jita replacements at first, then one would slowly swallow the others.
Watch the pirates trying to steal stuff cause so much lag that the server crashes. Then it gets rebooted to crash again.
Watch people complain about their assets lost in Jita, then they quit Eve.
Watch people complain about their assets in Jita lost as they tried to move them out, then quit Eve.
Question if I should remain in Eve when the devs have shown that they are willing to make sudden changes which effectively remove the assets we worked hard for. So although I don't have any assets in Jita, this would probably be enough to make me quit Eve.
