I was out pirating last night in my stabber after an extended leave of absence from eve. Thought I would hop into a few gallente low sec systems. I hopped into a belt after i scanned down a kestrel and caracal when ALL of SUDDEN a fleet issue stabber came in and WTFpznwered me! It was going maybe 3-4 times faster at topspeed than I can FLY! AND i had a t2 afterburner equipped, which is the best you can get!
is this what you guys are talking about when u say nano and what is a nano module. OVERPOWERED IMO |

You will need to fit 2 T2 afterburners. 2xT2=nano.

The reason you got burned so bad was most likely b/c you wern't doing more then 5-700 meters/second. The trick to nano ships is there speed. I've done a pretty cookie cutter set up here but with my skills (and I am no nano-fagger) I can get my stabber going 3.78 km/s without rigs.
Highs:
4 X's t2 180 AC w/barrage
"I've learned from flying minmatar that 180's are just all around great ac's they track good and have a good rof for what you will be doing."
2 X's arby assault launchers w/torrent
Meds:
1 X's t2 Large shield extender
1 X's t2 Medium shield extender or t2 warp disruptor
1 X's t2 10mn mwd
"Nanos mostly operate off a buffer tank, meaning if you're a smart nano pilot you won't be taking a lot of damage b/c you're moving faster then either turrets can track or explosion radius can encompass you"
Lows:
1 X's t2 Overdrive Injector
2 X's t2 Nanofibers
"Cookie cutter low slot fitting for a 3 slot nano ship"
Now the trick is simple when you engage something you want to stay out of web range, most people neglect to realize with thermodynamics most pvp pilots webrange is upwards of 12-13 kms so if you load barrage and orbit at around 15km your out of web range. Things to look out for are rapiers, huggins and any other ship that gets bonuses to webbing range. If your in a stabber and you hear an uncloak noise your best option is to bee-line in a straight line away from the rapier and hope your velocity after being webbed takes you out of point range.
Stabbers are not the most cap stable nano ships so you want to pulse your mwd, not keep it on constantly, go cap dead and die.
If you're too dense to understand this then you deserve to die multiple times in belts against other nano ships.
