Fluffy Slippers	Posted - 2008.06.25 22:46:00 - [1] Finishing Amarr cruiser5 soon then I fly Damnation. Moving from Missile/Shield to Missile/Armor so need help with setup as I admit I have only half a clue. This will be gang setup, 2-3 links + ham2s for weapons. Ive heard Damnation is good at passive armor but I dont know much about that. Any help on passive/active damnation setups (Ham2 - no laser) will be appreciated.
Stuart Price The Black Rabbits The Gurlstas Associates	Posted - 2008.06.25 23:43:00 - [2] Try this as a baseline: HIGHS: 4 x HAM II 2 x Armored Warfare Links MEDS: 1 x 10mn MWD II 1 x Warp Disruptor II 1 x Stasis Webber II 1 x ECCM - Radar II LOWS: 1 x 1600mm RT Plate 1 x Medium Armour Rep II 1 x DC II 3 x EANM II 2 x Trimark Armor Pump 5 x Whatever Light Drone This assumes you're going to need an MWD. If not, you can drop it and fit a third Armoured Warfare Link (You'll have to decide if you want the ECCM and an empty slot OR 2 sensor boosters. I'd go ECCM and empty personally). With proper support this makes an absolutely EVIL heavy tackler and the more ganglinks the better, obviously. If you do get primaried then you'll take a long time to die. If you're part of a RR gang then you're pretty much invincible unless they have a serious, serious amount of firepower. "I got soul but I'm not a soldier"

Jessica Molla	Posted - 2008.06.26 12:15:00 - [9] Oh guys...soo many bad setups firstly..look at the role of the damnation...gang boosting, nothing else why to fit hams on it? if in a gang your dps will be unimportant compared to the dps of your gangmates, boost your tank instead what i use is: 2x trimarks- if you can get your hands on T2 go for it, but kinda expensive lows: 2x 1600 plate(Rolled tungstedn of course) 1x thermal hardener II 1x DC II 1x either med repper II or 800 plate- thats your call(or call of the situation) 1x EANM meds: 1x web 1x scram 1x 10 afterburner( you dont need speed but cap) 1x cap recharger or injector if you can fit it(not sure about that since i fly with the recharger) highs: 3x gang mods (mandatory) 4x whatever you can fit here, you dont have much pg left so i use ligh missile lounchers just to get on KM, good range drones: again your call i use hobgoblins II but you can put jamming drones in if you wish slave set is awesome if you have money and guts... with this setup you can provide your mates a very nice boost, get on KM and it will be pain for your enemies to ***** your tank...thats all you want from damnation or any other fleet command btw you can get as high as 600k effective armor(although usually its around 550k) still good though
