Yes it returns again with one week to run. The lottery draw takes place on Wednesday 2nd of July. Prize of 50m ISK to the winner and 10m ISK to the runner up. This lottery is for characters aged between 15 days and 2 months to help get them started in eve but also as a bit of fun too. Entries should be made before 19:00 eve time on the day of the draw. Draw takes place at 21:30 eve time and the winners will be confirmed in this thread after the draw.
Yes you did read it right it's FREE.
The lotteries will use a 49 ticket system and we use the UK main national lottery bonus ball as our means of drawing a winner, we will be using the first ball out as a means of choosing our runner up.
Rules
Sorry but there has to be rules or things could go a bit pear shaped fast.
1, The free lottery is open only to young characters between the ages of 15 days and 2 months (this will be verified before you are entered). This is in an attempt to allow new players to the game to benefit from this "charity" while having an easy going competition.
2, Tickets for the free lottery are restricted to 1 per person/character.
3, In the event that any of the winning tickets are unoccupied, those respective prizes will rollover to the next week (The main prize would double to 100m and the runner up prize would double to 20m).
4, Donations are gladly accepted but will not increase the chances of winning. We won't be bought.
5, Entries must be placed by the specified time on the respective draw days. This is so we can check everything is right and that characters fall within the correct age range.
6, You must post here with the number you choose (asking for "any number" just means more work at our end and will not be carried out).
7, In the event of a mistake being made by us (the organisers) we will judge the severity of the mistake and make good any "cock ups" by compensating the wronged party at our discretion.
8, Once an entry has been placed there will be no changes made.
9, Lotteries will have the winning tickets picked from the bonus ball on the main UK lottery on those respective days. The runner up in the lottery will be chosen by the first ball out on the correspoding Saturday lottery.

50 million free? Almost sounds too good to be true, but unless there's a way to make someone's wallet explode by putting too much money into it, I can't find the downside

I understand why people might be dubious of entering a paid event, which is probably why our main lottery is moving very slowly, but with this lottery there literally is no risk as there is no outlay. Just say yes please I'll have this number and that's it.
Call it a publicity stunt if you like cos that really is what it is. A way of advertising that our lottery is here and by giving away a free prize hopefully gains us trust in the event community and allows us to grow ino something similar to BIG Games who are the longest established lottery organisers in EVE.
Lots of work to be done between now and then though.
Keep the entries coming.
