welcome to gorilla warfare, a very viable form of combat in eve. although as pointed out already, watch local and you wont have a problem <.<

Until CCP nerfs the unfair Local intel, login traps are fine as the only means of conducting an ambush without having to involve a titan.
you should really learn to pvp.

This tbh ^^. Most of the time people whine about login traps or other such nonsense it's because they lack the intel required to see what really happened.

1. Could they have come in from a side system?
2. Is there a pos jump bridge in system?
3. Could they have jumped a bunch of recons into system using a black ops cyno (which you wouldn't see if it was offgrid)
4. Was it a station system? Its pretty common for people to sit on TS while logged off, and log in as soon as they hear there is a fight going on.
