I'm curious how most people handle this mission from an ISK-maximizing perspective. For me, the warpgate generally dies after the second spawn of enemies, at which point the mission completes. Would it be better to hold off on killing it and farm all the waves of enemies? Or is it more profitable to just finish it quickly and move on?
I'm not really expecting an exact answer on this, haha, but just curious what most people do.

Hmm, you either have an insane DPS boat, or you're dual-accounting, if you have the time to kill the gate in-between spawns. Or do you mean you don't shoot the spawns, but just kill the gate instead ? Unless you have some weird fetish about not killing those ships (or unless you simply can't be bothered to loot/salvage... hey, I know I usually feel this way myself), then just kill all incoming as they come and then shoot the gate. The timers are not THAT long, the tags sell quite nicely, the rest of the loot ain't that bad either, and salvage should yield some ATBs too which are still relatively high in price even with AE back.

I've farmed this one a few times. And no, don't shoot the gate at all unless you want to complete the mission.
While you can get enough distance with a raven to snipe and kite your way through solo, two accounts is definitely recommended. I had an abaddon tanking and a raven sitting about 80km off the gate spamming.
Nice alloyed trit bars, and those darkanas drop some pretty nice loot on top of it. Add to this that republic fleet tags are in rather poor supply, and this is a pretty sweet mission to hold onto for a week. If you don't mind the faction hit, that is.

I run my normal raven and my newly acquired Amarr char for missions typically. It'll soon be Golem/Paladin(Nightmare), but atm it's just Raven/Apoc. Things do tend to get chewed up quickly. I don't loot/salvage all missions, but the EA series I do loot (if only because without tags, you get nothing for the kills, haha). I just wasn't sure if I should wait around on part 5, or just finish it off and be done with it. I'll try waiting around next time and see what all spawns they send out.

I solo in my Golem quite comfortably solo. Don't shoot the gate until all the spawns are dead. Those NPC's are great salvage!
Just don't do it in times of lag spikes. . .

EA all of them are only worth doing if you are going to kill ever NPC and loot. This mission like WC is not worth blitzing you lose if you do.

Excellent mission to farm.
Takes around 35 minutes to kill everything and another 25 minutes to salvage.
Average between 40-50 mill per mission from loot tags and salvage.

Thanks guys. I'll take my time next time and clear it out.
