It is because you take the game way to seriously and do not recognize as a "Game". I remember your past post. You are viewing what happens in game and trying to compare it to RL and vice verse. Now when I hear a player that has 3 years in to a game and can not figure out how to make 25mil, I sense something else is up. I had this guy once asking me to help him out making some cash. He had a 2003 char. After asking a few questions he had no more than 1.5 mil sp. Anyone that has been in the game longer than 6 months can turn 25 mil. And one that has been in game for 3 years you should be capable of getting 25 mil with out even thinking about it. I have a hunch you started 3 years ago but have not really played the game.

Yeah, just look how easy it is to scam someone out of 25m, even if you don't have mining skills, agent standings or easy 0.0 access. I live by several mantras when I log into my EVE account, the first one being "Trust nobody". It has served me very well so far. Off-topic: Age of Conan sucks, if you want to emoquit EVE, go buy a world of warcraft account. It's beautifully polished, almost bug free and heavilly populated. I garuentee you'll be back before your trial is up though, because it is so terribly dull compared to EVE.

There was an issue months ago where the layout of the loan contracts was very ambiguous and easy to scam people with, and I believe it was made an exploit for a while. But other similar contract scams, e.g. the x1 issue and freeforms, were fixed to make the interface clearer and I don't see why this one should have been any different.

The game is full of freaks that thinks ganking is a bad thing. You die, and you loose nothing. You kill someone in an epic 1 vs 1, and win nothing. The only way to get some action in AOC are to gank people that are about half your level because them you can normaly get solo in traps they can not get out of. After killing 10-20 of them, and maybe spawn camp them a little to weed out the really bad players you get some chat- that you can use to petition them for harasment. Looks pretty, plays like crap. Its painful to read the AoC forums these days.
