Has anyone heard an update as to if/when there will be a printing of the Eve novel on the other side of the Atlantic? I see the U.S. Amazon site is still taking orders for it, but it is marked out of stock. And my own order still does not list any information for a date it will be shipped. / "Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in getting up every time we do." - Confucius, Chinese philosopher & reformer (551 BC - 479 BC.) |

I'd be surprised if we hear anything particularly quickly - and by that I'm talking several months, not a week or two.
I would suggest that if you are impatient to read it, then you might look at an import bookseller.

It will take months, but hopefully not a lot of months. We're expediting to move faster than the book trade normally does (which is a 9 month cycle). I would like to have it in people's hands before summer is done.

Thank you very much for that upfront answer RyanD. I guess I'll be canceling my order through U.S. Amazon, and biting the bullet of shipping cost from U.K. Amazon. / "Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in getting up every time we do." - Confucius, Chinese philosopher & reformer (551 BC - 479 BC.) |

Book sales, especially when dealing with publishers and distributors around the world, is a fairly glacial business.
When hammering bits of paper flat and nailing letters to them is the core of your business, often counting on long term deals, it is difficult to speed up things. This is made worse when going international, as different distributors will have different deals and contracts to be worked out.
This Is changing, thankfully. As worldwide shipping becomes commonplace, along with the vast power of the internet, Consumers are less and less thrilled by waiting for publishers to get to work. This little development (the owenr of the IP and deal coordinator pushing to create greater distribution) is a step in the right direction!

I would just like to say that I received my copy via fedEx from the UK and I am throughly pleased. It took exactly three weeks, was not very expensive and the book arrived in pristine quality. Man up and buy it off of amazonUK, its not a big issue really. CCP take your time with this requst, your busy enough.

And here I thought I'd just be able to go to the EVEO Store and order it there. Silly me for thinking it'd be that simple.

Is it being sent by a company in Europe? Cause from what I have been able to find out, no copies of the book have been printed in North America, and that is where the copies which will be sold by the U.S. Amazon site would come from. I know there are copies available for sale on the site, but those are third parties selling copies they have gotten from Europe from what I understand, which is why they cost more to make up their shipping cost. / "Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in getting up every time we do." - Confucius, Chinese philosopher & reformer (551 BC - 479 BC.) |

I bought mine from Amazon here in the US. Amazon itself says they are out of stock but their were several retailers that had them new and used for cheaper than amazon's price.
I ordered one of these copies and should have it frist of this week. |
