Ofcourse this is another whine about tracking titans.
But.........
If you think about it, the only war at the moment where tracking titans play a part in is the war between Raiden and Goons.
It's a war of sheer numbers against a large amount of titans.
With the threat of titans out of the way, goons will rolfstomp tenal and the rest. (actually it will just go faster because Raiden are losing slowly now)
What I think is going to happen is that the tracking nerf will go live. Goons will take Raidens and NC. space and then........ccp decides the nerf was too big and undo quite a bit of this nerf making titans usefull again.
So in the end ccp actually just giving giving goons extra territory and most of the techmoons in Eve. If you didn't like the ice interdiction, think about tech-monopolly next.

True, Tech Team Titans were the only thing that can, and now could, stand up to the massive drake blobs that CFC can field.
Raiden. + NC. + PL + Init is like 8k. Goons alone have 7k, test have a lot, and there are more alliances where that came from.
CCP is making the game fun for the really new players that either stay in highsec forever, or join a blob alliance. I foresee a lot of alliances falling the the Drake blob in the future, unless CCP fixes blobs, and or Tech Moons.

The titan nerf wouldnt matter if the they could find a way to nerf the blob :/
Ending the structure grind would help, since that's a large part of Sov warfare ATM.

The Technetium nerf will be the next big one. The most recent titan fix was relatively easy and quick to implement - it was technically cheap to implement and has a very specific, limited effect. A proper rebalance to moon goo would have repercussions throughout the entire T2 market. It's certainly coming, but the problem is no one really knows what the fix should be or how to implement it.
In the long run, though, the technetium bottleneck will be fixed. When that happens, alliances will need to count on their members for income, not monopoly control of a certain kind of rare moon.

He's obviously referring to when white wolf or whoever it was came out with the 3rd edition of D and D and they had switched to the D20 system. The pen and paper RP community was in uproar, very dark times. Is it a coincidence that CCP has ties with white wolf? No it's not. Obvious scandal is obvious. |
