Graphics: How would you compare/Rate EVES graphics to EnB? If you can't compare them fairly, how would you rank them on a scale of 1-10 (1 being lowest, 10 being highest)? E&B was more cartoonish, but what i loved about E&B was the special effects like psi shield and when you got shot it would show your shield like when ships get shot in star trek. I liked doing the ship emotes as well in e*B the ship rolls and loops. EVE is unmatched in graphics, but E&B had the better effects.
Controls and menus: EVE is a complex game to control and command. How would you compare EVE's controls and UI to EnB? E*B had a better control system, I also think the chaning beween hi/mid/low slots buttons are too figity.
Freedom, and immersion: How much more free, or less free do you feel in EVE compared to EnB? Do you miss the limited Z axis of EnB, even though it's less useful in EVE than it could be? How immersive would you say EVE is compared to EnB? Do you feel more like your a part of a big universe? or does EVE seem hollow and souless? Do the players make the biggest dent in this impression? or is the NPC/NPC storyline enough? EVE wins on this one, ive never felt such a freedom as this game brings. I can go where i want shoot who i want, make my own storyline, eve wins here. In E&B we were stuck with the jenquai hates progen, terran makes money storylines which were not player controlled.
Music: How would you compare EVE's music to EnB's? EVE definately
Sound effects: Some would say EVE has great sound effect, but not enough of them, others would say something else. What do you think? How does EVE's sound effects compair to EnB?E&B had better sound effects (psi shield!!!)
Learning curve: Most will say EVE has a very steep learning curve, but have you thus far found it easy to keep up with? or just barely within your grasp to keep track of all the things you need to know? EVE is hard to get into at the beginning, everything is so big and scary, but i like that, it adds a little realism and gets away from all the cuddly stuff in E&B
Activities/professions: How would you rate the profession/s you have chosen for yourself in EVE compared to EnB? do you feel your profession is better in EVE than it's possible counterpart in EnB? Or do EVE's proffessions get boring for you quickly? Well in E&B your profession was defined for you by the charcater you selected, so EVE wins again.
Organizational: Do you like the way EVE handles player groups (corps, and very soon alliance support), or do you miss whatever system EnB used? What are your feelings on gangs? I'm a bit confused about the player allinaces, they dont seem to have official tags or colors yet
Are you into PVP? Or are you more into Carebearing/PVE? Do you actually PVP? Or are you still trying to reach a point where you can get into that aspect (For example, you may love PVP, but for now your a PVE expert in order to make ISK to get into the heat of better PVP). I mostly explore places and do a little mining
Legal freedom: Different from overal freedom, how do you feel about the way concord handles agression (Bugs not withstanding)? Do you feel the intended effect is just about right? Or do you think EVE should have no need of concord either because EVE should be 100% free for all PVP, or do you think PVP should be outlawed? concorde makes me feel safe, and i think thats important in a pvp game else players would just kill all the newbies
World size: Does EVE satisfy your lust for homesteading? Do you look at that big map and say: WOW! or do you just open your eyes wide and go: Uhm... ok... How the hell do I find my way around this place anyway!? Its really massive, you can literally live in some far off system like a monk and no one will ever find u!
Single server: Do you think having one huge server is really more fun as most of us here do? Or do you miss the shards of other games? I hated on e&B how one server managed to get something rare and the rest of us just twidled our thumbs, so everyone on one server is better imo
Do you belong to a corp yet? An alliance? Or are you going to freelance until further notice? What kind of corp would you want to join and in what capacity if you did join a corp? (No I am not reqruiting, at least not for a long while LOL). Admit it you are recruiting! Corps dont appeal to me yet, i just wanna find my way around and get used to the game.
How would you rate EVE overal? Would you dare compare this rating to one for EnB? Which do you prefer now that you have played both?Eve is better by miles
