Quote: Archbishop, I am Vaden Khale. I am a member of the private capsuleer corporation known as the united. As I live in Gallente space, far from my homeland, I fear that the decadence of the Gallente may have corrupted my pure Amarrian blood. Recently, one of your members proclaimed me a heretic for voicing my opinion that we should seek redemption for the Matari before destruction. I also mentioned my studies of the Sani Sabik, which I studied strictly to better understand our dread enemies, the Blood Raiders. I made mention that even a vile cult such as the Blood Raiders will seek redemption of their enemies before destruction. Granted, this means receiving a willing blood sacrifice, but the spiritual message is the same. Archbishop, I desire your accumulated knowledge in learning my place in this galaxy. Is my desire to see Minmatar redeemed to God, so that when they are executed for their heinous crimes against God they be received unto his bosom rather than condemned to an eternity of hell, heretical? Or is it God-like? Please respond with utmost haste.
God has set his place for all the races in the hierarcy of the universe. I think the thing to do would be to look at the holy scriptures and understand what they are saying. Yes God has deemed the Amarr the chosen thus the Minmatar are not.
"Our Lord visited his flock and saw that all was not good. Blasphemy and heresy ruled the land. The Lord punished the sinners and drowned them in their own blood. But the people of Amarr lived righteously and in fear of God. Thus they were saved and became God's chosen one." ## The Scriptures. Book II.
In saying you want the Minmatar "redeemed" what do you want? Do you want them to understand God and His holy word? Do you want them to go to God when they pass into the next life? Do you want them to understand the gravity of their sins and repent? Redemption is a complicated thing yet God has also stated in the scriptures that redemption isn't possible.
"'Which test reveals more of the soul - the test that a man will take to prove his faith. or the test that finds the man who believed his faith already proven? If you know this answer, then you also know which of these challenges bear the greatest penalty for failure, The gates of paradise will open for you one time only; woe to the soul who dares to knock twice.' -Book of Missions, 5:14, The Scriptures"
This clearly indicates those that turned from God shall not enter the gates of paradise. You yourself admit a -10.0 standing, studying SaniSabik scriptures and other manners of sin. While you are of the chosen race you have turned from God and abandoned his teachings. Per the scriptures the gates will not open for you.
But does this mean you do not better yourself? You do not try to be a good person and do what God would want? Of course not. Even as you have once sinned and will not enter paradise there is still a moral obligation for you to do the right thing. But it is a "choice" you make of your own free will.
The Minmatar on the other hand were given the choice and look at the results. Yes I know as a slave owner my desire is to enlighten as many Minmatar as I can. I derive satisfaction seeing them ascend to the Ammatar status and become servants of God. Yes these are not Amarr they are lessor but even I as a Ni-Kunni am a lessor to a True Amarr. But we do our duty to God regardless because He is God and its our way of life.
For the Minmatar there is hope but not for redemption. The hope is they understand and come to God on their own. No they will never be "redeemed" but they can seek to know God. My view is a Minmatar is like a child and you must guide them into making the right choices. That is what slavery does.
So what do you truly want for the Minmatar... and why?
