That, and now my graphics card is busting 80 degrees Celcius and the GPU fan is running the 500 miles of Indianapolis. I dunno whether I should be happy or scared. :( __________________________________

I dunno whether I should be happy or scared. :( change interval immidiate to interval one no more problems. as FPS is not capped in eve your GPU goes on everdrive spamming frames at your pc... as most LCD screenes are 60-75hz then your monitor can only show max 60 to 75 fps anyways. so it doesnt matter if you can go upto 200fps or more... your monitor cant show them anyways. interval one caps your fps at the refresh rate of your monitor. GPU overheating problems are gone aswell

I used to use one, but every time I started up EVE it went into overdrive mode, scared the hell out of me. Eventually the card burnt itself out so I got an 8800GT and it works fine now.

Also, if you have premium graphics, there are options you can set to limit or increase thw shiny effect in the escape window.
