What's funny, is that the EvE community is about a billion times more mature than any other MMO community out there.
Not like that's saying a WHOLE lot or anything tho....

Yea I read some of the linked post from another forum.
But do yourself a favor, read the anchor post to that thread (first post) instead of page 6 of the thread as linked.
The anchor post, at least in my opinion raises some valid points.

When you make a game/product/whatever, not everyone will like it.

I love reading MMORPG.com, while EVE-O can occasionally run out of ******s, MMORPG.com has an inexhaustible supply.
I pity people who cannot understand EVE. Obviously it is not for everyone, but to completely misconstrue the game as the quoted post does indicates a very blinkered view of what gaming can be, and an interest in only the shallowest of games. A pity, for them. Lulz for us though.
