I've got enough DPS to blow **** up Disregarding that you make more isk/hour watching grass grow than running L4s with 214 dps even if that dps is applicable, in this contraption you will just end up being webbed, not hitting the webbers, slowboating towards BS 50km from you with 0.1 m/s only to be able to hit it with the effect of a wet noodle. In other words: No on point 2. Too lazy to bother checking if the tank is good enough for at least getting stuck instead of outright dieing. Make suicide ganking more difficult!

Also, the Eagle has no drone bay, have fun trying to escape rat scramblers if your tank does break.

Seriously, 220 m/s should be enough to catch up with a BS (eventually). Mission BSs can be a lot faster than that. To be effective on L4 missions you need to be able to deal damage to about 55km out.

urata	Posted - 2008.06.29 19:04:00 - [11] eagle sucks at lvl 4, u may handle like 5-6 missions , if u want hibrids get a vulture its easy since it have the optimal range bonuses and a nice tank

The same setup I've poasted, with 4 T2 railguns (thorium M) and 2 small missiles (bloodclaw light missiles) can easily tank any L3 mission even after I aggro every ship in the room. The railguns can hit anything on the range of 13 to about 65km, and the missiles can take care of anything that gets closer. THE STATE PREVAILS!

I can get more DPS (240ish) from a Harpy than that Eagle, and it's no slow-boat for getting in range of targets, can dodge most BS fire and takes less damage from missiles. So no. Not a good fit. Use a cerb instead if anything.
Spineker Caldari State Protectorate	Posted - 2008.07.03 06:41:00 - [15] Eagle just ins't a mission runner. It has a role but l4 isn't one of them. You may or may not die quickly and completely but even if you live it would take forever to kill some of the BS. There are some that takes 30x6 heavy missiles to bring down maybe a few worse then that I don't remember. Ferox or Drake far better if you are not able to drive a good BS setup. It might be fun for level 3 missions though but only for the fun factor which would wear out pretty quick for me. You will lose your pithi shield booster as soon as orbiting frigs or inty's lock you down and battle ships and cruisers unleash 1000+ dps on you. Your CDFP I on active tank is a waste of cash to me.
