Game has been crashing all day. I think the port scans are connected. Would have filed a petition but it crashes when I do.
Don't scan my ports CCP, You can have any ports you need, just tell me what you think you need for this new patch and I'll open them up but don't go scanning my ports like a hacker. I have always been setup to disco an attackers subnet first and ask questions later. Perhaps its not you and you are internally infected, maybe your new launcher needs something new but when you attack me, I disco and crash. If I have to let you attack me to stay connected, I will do as I have always done and eliminate the security threat and find a replacement if I need one and that includes games.

Since this thread has nothing else of value, unless I'm mistaken, E-3 is Lance Corporal, which abbreviates to LCpl.
If I'm wrong please feel free to post a correction and the source of said information.

You're not, LCpl. is the correct abbreviation, though plenty of people write it as Lcpl. as well. |

Your logs may be fine, but I'm not sure about the rest of you.
Are you saying you're getting fifteen live streams at once and that your bandwidth was tanked by opening the Eve Online forum, or are you just posting bullshit here to make yourself feel good? Because I'm uncertain how this site's traffic has anything of substance in common with traffic "from a **** site."
If you mean they use TCP/IP or UDP headers then I guess I may have to agree.
I'd point out that you bear a strong resemblance to a chimp, then. You have genetic markers that are similar, after all.

FWIW no amount of packet inspection will protect you from being "hacked."
Being hacked is *not* like it happens on TV. There is no circumventing firewalls, opening ports, DIVERT ALL POWER TO THE SUBNET!!
It's rootkit > openport > receive bacon > download nasty.
You are literally causing your own problem.

n.b. I suspect the traffic you are seeing is due to a "torrent like" transfer method on the download. Probably built into the new launcher. Most clients on a peer-to-peer network will periodically check to see if the other peers are awake.
The giveaway is the port numbers are both random and highrange.
