HAHHAHAHA, who trounced them out of 0.0 in the first place?
SF isn't really a 0.0 corp, they do a lot of RP and lowsec/empire war stuff as well.
In 0.0, they're no different from any other pirate corp.

TBH, As a Gallente, I get a bit of a boost out of knowing we have the Caldari central market locked down and screwed up, even though I'm not part of FW. IDK, mebbe it says something about missiles, rails and paper armor at 30 km vs blasters, MWD, and pimping hull and armor at 1.5 km.

Exceptionally good post by the OP.
Would also like to point out that these things come and go in waves. Wardeccing FW corps is the thing at the moment, and tbh, it's a great thing to learn a thing or two. My corp is less then effective with PVP, but we can't get enough of it and have learn a great deal from some of the more organised corps that are in FW on the opposing side.
Keep working at it and stay with it, you'll get better and like others have said - at the very least, it'll get rid of the deadweight. Those that want to be there because they like to feel tough, but can't handle the fact their 1 player game is getting disrupted.
Again, good post.

Ya know, there are Caldari that are actually enjoying the wardecs. It's a form pew pew love & recognition from one to another.
It's like "hey you there, ya you ... we noticed you ... looking mighty fine today in that cruiser ... mhmmm ... and we want a piece of that ... we're gonna schedule special time just for you!"
Wardecs are gifts! The best is when you are not the one paying for them.
I mean what a shame it would be to have a hangar full of toys, a gang of corp-buddies all fitted like pimps and no one looking for you in local.
Look at it simply as "mwOar targets " and people willing to take the time to play with your friends and you.
Considering that the Gallante Corporations already have a free wardec that covers you ... it's kinda nice of them to ingore everyone else and pay attention just to you.
Now recieving wardecs from odds that may seem stacked crazy will be the best thing that could ever happen to the team. These are the best team building events. Any good team leadership should be able to see the unique oppurunities to strengthen the team and trim the fat.
In EvE, competition, common threats and the balls to face challenges builds strong teams.
So smile for the next wardec you log into and feel good that you just got winked at

Hey, can I wardec just 1 corp in a alliance? Why not?
Same reason why FW should be the same. Either let us wardec individual alliance corps, or let FW milita help their allies as they get shout down without concord/sec loss

That's kinda how we're taking it, actually. Other than adventuring in Jita, which is never a good idea, the wardec(-s, plural) we have due to FW have been more interesting than anything else.
My corpmate who's battleship vanished to a horde of SF thoraxes last night while the fleet looked on might disagree, however.
Nonetheless, this is how EVE rolls atm, unless or until CCP decides to change something.
It's both flattering and, frankly, a little sad that Star Fraction found us among the best targets so far, since we are a small 0.0 training corp. But since we ARE a small, 0.0 training corp, we'll go get trained, thanks.

Kudos to Reaver for attempting to get this ramble together to form something resembling a legitimate fighting force. it would be nice to get a fight once in a while instead of these damn undocking games, and ships full of warp core stabs.
i hope you succeed in your endeavor reaver, although getting the caldari militia to do learn to fight is a much more daunting task then you realize.

Quit whining. If you want to declare war against someone who is actually looking for a corp vs corp fight, as opposed to corps who have decided that FW is their main focus, then I'm sure you'll get more action.
Personally I still just concentrate on FW for my fun, TSF is just a spoilt brat jumping up and down for attention in this crazy galaxy we call home. Maybe I'll decide to dance with SF one day but it will be when I'm ready, not when you want me to. I have more interesting stuff to do than keep you entertained.
Perhaps you should come camp a FW fleet sometime when there are a few of us war-dec'ees in fleet as opposed to just one or two?...

Originally by: Reaver One I'm a member of the Caldari Militia. My corporation has been wardec'd by two low-sec pirate corps, as have most of the Caldari Militia corrps of consequence. I myself am pretty well stuck in port (and have been for three days now) as I have no chance at all against three-year old players at 5:1 odds. Can't mission run to make any cash, and couldn't sell the loot even if I did because my hub (Jita) is camped to the gills by Gallente. I'm assuming that the Caldari Militia isn't the only one with these problems, and yeah, it sucks.
I hear so many folks calling for CCP to do something about this, and about the Jita camps, so as a "victim" myself, let me be the first to say...stop whining and do something yourself.
CCP has made an unforgiving game. That's what makes it worth playing. If they start tinkering with the rules so that the FW militias and militia corps have it easier, the game breaks.
It is up to US to overcome these obstacles...not CCP. CCP gave us the tools to play with the big boys...cut our teeth in PvP and discover the larger world outside empire space. Now, the realities of low-sec and 0.0 are here, and we're running around like chickens with their heads cut off and whining in chat and on the forums.
I don't have the answers...I'm a new player myself...but I know that there ARE answers. Off the top of my head I'd say that one viable option would be to merge all of the smaller militia corps into a single very large corporation, engaging the pirate corps at every opportunity and camping trading hubs ourselves.
Another would be to make a system of smaller corporations...sharing them amongst each militia's corps, granting no member rights (to make rapid joining/leaving possible) and move members from one to another as they get dec'd. Not a very courageous option to be sure, but it'll cost the enemy more ISK than it's worth to keep up.
I'm sure that there are other methods out there that I'm to green to be aware of. I've tried to establish intel channels, get in touch with various members of fellow militia corps and coordinate, establish some sort of dialogue in corp chat and on the various militia forums...and have been met with a pretty resounding silence.
Maybe I don't have the personality or the seniority, that's cool, but SOMEONE better do something here. They succeed in scaring all the folks out of the FW corps, then the nervous system of all of the militias is gone, and Faction Warfare WILL fail. That may be the goal right there for all I know, and it'll be OUR fault if it happens.
A noob joining Faction Warfare right now is going to see ships being blown out of fleets without any help from their buddies. He'll get podded the first time he tries to do business in a hub, and if he joins a militia corp he'll probably be hunted through high-sec. How long to you think he'll stay?
How long do you think FW will last without new blood, and with the more experienced folks leaving?
The pirates and the 0.0 alliances predicted that FW would fail in a spectacular fashion, and would do so under it's own "weight". Didn't happen. Instead, it's fun, and it's getting the noobs, bears and the grinders into the meat of the game, just like it was supposed to. Now the null-sec crowd is going to see to it that it DOES fail, no matter what.
If it does, it's our fault.
wow, lol a caldari begging for help from his enemies, GET OVER IT, maybe if you didnt attack random alliances POS's in Black Rise, or lock onto neutrals and shoot (ME, yes ME, i was shadowing one of your fleets and got popped by an inty i even went to the liberty of sending someone a message saying im not hostile, was in a caldari shutle, and named it "NO HOSTILE INTENTIONS") you wouldnt have this problem, the gallente militia dont attack neutralss, except if they are vulturing our wrecks from our fleet battles, sorry about your luck

"Wardec a Militia corp you have to fight the whole alliance just like any other player alliance."
wrong, because acceptance into an alliance is human controlled, vs that into militia is NPC automatic. it would make it too easy to avoid war decs by hopping in and out.
happy to help you with that.

To the OP,
I am friends with many Star Fraction even though they fight against my militia allies.
I would like to give Star Fraction a REAL run for thier money, but there are some major obstacles. This would enable me to razz Jade and Centra Spike in the Stimulus public channel.
However, from being in the Milita, I can tell you and I'm sure you understand it is HARD to organize a group of people that each have thier own agenda and own leadership. We can't kick anyone out we don't like or that won't do what we want. So there are some inherant challenges to getting help for individual corps. BUT, if you guys can, maybe organize with all the corps that did get decced. This will enable you to form fleets of people that ALL can shoot at your enemy.
Also recruit out of the militia, some people, may only be using the Militia for casual PvP and able to run back to high sec and mission with a lot of safety. But there are many people who want to PvP full time and will be willing to join your corps so they can do so.
Also, if you guys are in need of ships maybe some industrial corps can help you guys supply cheap ships and modules so you can PvP with impunity and try to beat back the aggressors. Then if they are insured you would give the insurance back to the industrial corp and they give you another ship.
SF is taking advantage of the disorganization and lack of unity of the Caldari Milita. People do this kind of thing in EVE. So take away your weakness and prevail.

As for wars with militia corps, I stand by my previous thread arguments that there is a flaw in the system and it needs to be re-examined under a microscope. For now, we deal with the issues we have at hand.

Firstly, I wasn't begging for help from the Gallente, I was suggesting that all the militias get themselves coordinated to prevent the loss of Faction Warfare as a viable game mechanic. I'm not suggesting that the Cals and Gals join forces, only that each one get their own s#!t straight.
Secondly, you then proceed to complain that you got nailed shadowing a Caldari fleet. Firstly, that's not polite, as we may assume that you are a spy for the Gallente...of course I'm not accusing you of being...hang on...
"Vulturing wrecks from OUR fleet battles" you say? As in the Gallente fleet battles? As in you were indeed a spy for the Gallente and got popped shadowing a Caldari fleet...and you've got the stones to complain about that? What a numb-nut.
As to those that contend that my post was a whine, well I wasn't intending that. What I am saying is that if the militias don't respond to the actions of 0.0 and low-sec corps, Faction Warfare will no longer draw the curious, the bored and the new...and that's the point of it is to introduce a whole new crop of folks to pew-pew.
My initial paragraph was just intended to point out that I speak from experience when I talk about this issue...it wasn't meant as a "poor me" thing at all. I'll handle my business no sweat...but the 2-month old newbs in my militia may not.
