If you can afford internet and a computer powerful enough to play EVE then you should probably be able to handle an extra 15 dollars a month of expenses. I know the global economy is bad but unless you live in a third world country you should be able to find something that can get you an extra 15 dollars a month. If you simply can't do that then I wonder how you even find time to play EVE in the first place!
Honestly bud, your really not playing EVE if you are just mining.
You shoot rocks with lasers, so you can make enough ISK to buy bigger ships to use for the purpose of shooting rocks with lasers!
If you just mine you will reach end game VERY fast in EVE which for a game with so many options and paths to take, isn't really a good thing.
In your case you wouldn't even be getting to bigger ships. You will be stuck in an infinite loop of being able to just barely afford a PLEX and then proceed to spend the rest of the month working your ass off so you can afford another plex. If you actually enjoy doing that then by all means keep doing that but if you spend the entire month working just so you can pay for another month of working then you will find all enjoyment sucked out of the game.
My advice to you OP: Keep your minerals and ore, and take a break from the game. Then wait for PLEX prices to (hopefully) drop and use those 3 or so free days to buy a new one. Then sell your ore and minerals so you have a bit more starting cash this time around. While waiting for PLEX prices to drop you can try out any number of free games. I'm probably going to get hunted down and podded for saying this but you could try WoW since it's now free up until level 20. I've never played WoW so I don't know how much game time that gives you but it should be sufficient enough while you get your act together. |

1. The op in no longer in-game.
or
2. Someone gave him the ISK and he no longer cares.
or
3. It was just a potential scam, it is EVE after all.
Anyway, which ever one it was, it's now just a storm in a tea-cup.
Can you read the EVE forums while logged out?

Well, I really only access the forums from two computers and when I do I like to post. My passwords are saved so I am too lazy to log out just for the purpose of seeing if I can read the forums while logged out.
