Hello Everyone,
I started off life as a miner, however having got my skills where I think they are quite good I turned my attention to my gunnary skills. I have trained many of them up, but still seem to have very poor performance and damage during missions.
Does anyone know of any guidelines that you can see what sort of damage you should be getting? Basially to me it seems low, but I dont know if I should be getting more or not?
Many thanks for any help.

EFT is a good tool for checking this stuff... But what ship are you using?

try Eve Fitting Tool (EFT) you can test your damage in this program. But if you realy need help, you have to ask: " I fly XXX ship, what is a good fit against XXX NPC ?"

This is actually quite complicated. If you're keen, have a look at this spreadsheet.

It's actually not complicated. Download EFT, put your fit in, and your character. Check your DPS. Switch to level 5 character, compare the DPS. Note the skills that have been changed. Tinker with skills to improve DPS. Modify fit.

Open a DPS graph, add your ship to the attacker, add a cruiser or frig at the target, give it a tranversal, look at the pretty graph.

Eft gives you a hint, but your experience give the full result, you must never trust a program, and less if it is a third party program
