We'll start with the standard Hodgkin's rule set, with aces high and multilateral sweeps allowed.
Use this for map references.
I'll start with Earl's Court. It's a risky move for opening play, but should open up the possibility of a triple roundabout loop later on if I'm lucky.
Earl's Court. Hmmm. Let me think ...
OK, I reckon a reversed line namesake play will take you to Barons Court. That should score me a double wicket for the "Court" and triple upper for correctly noting no possesive apostrophe in "Barons"!
Ah you must be playing from a very outdated ruleset. The reversed line namesake play was outlawed in 1972 as apart of the Stepworth revision. Your play of Baron's court is invalid.
I move on Paddington. Booyah. -- |

Please, that rule was eliminated in the 1983 ruleset, but I'll let it slide this time.
I move to Waterloo, pursuant the triple backspin loop.
Elephant and castle from there. No other choice really.

Point of order Humphrey, whilst the train very well left the station, I'd already jumped ship onto another to Pimlico.
I call Mindstar's move illegal, asides the fact it was part of the Clapham trio and believe he should be penalised accordingly.
If you remember the 1980 Treaty of Minsk specifically stated the punishments available.

Can I confirm what rule set we're playing under.
If we're using the Remington abridged version 4, 2005, I'd like to move to Swiss Cottage.

If we're using the Remington abridged version 4, 2005, my move is to Swiss Cottage.
If we're not I'll have to rethink my strategy.
Indeed we are, Remington is a standard of fair play these days. I'm glad we are on the same page.
Speaking of which, I hope you have your passports handy, I am lining up the international connections at Kings Cross. -- |

Whilst I applaud the daring international bluff I'm afraid the aforementioned Minsk Treaty 1980 outlawed the international endgame hijack.
Mornington Crescent cannot be played for at least three moves following an international switch.
It's really the triple roundabout theory in reverse.

We've already agreed on the Remington abridged version 4, 2005 ruleset, hence the 1970s expansion is included but must be declared before playing.
As such your move is void.

Hopefully not too early in the game, but I'm playing Heisenberg's uncertainty rule.
Shepherd's Bush - pick one of Central OR Hammersmith & City line stations.
But you won't know which one until you go there, and when you do, it still might be the other one.
Get out of that and stay fashionable!
Pssshhh, Heisenberg's is inadmissable during British Summer Time as you surely must know.....that said....Goodge Street
Ah yes but he does have a point on forward planning there. I take Hammersmith, as a key strategic point. -- |

Of course it is, however 1992 Darwin Amendment allows it in this case.

Which is good, because the 1992 Darwin Amendment also includes the 1991 International Mirror Points as an absolute. I invoke the third section of the Points and move to L'Enfant Plaza.

You should know better than that. the '92 Darwin Amendment clearly states that the '84 Shuttleworth is only enforced when the '91 Cryer Rule has been announced. Or do you mean Darwin's December 31st '92 Glasgow Charity Hogmanay Ball Addendum? that Amendment was actually ratified after midnight, and few people remember the tournament clearly.
..Which is why it's known as the 1993 Addendum - the 1992 Addendum was ratified well before midnight, and allows the 1984 Shuttleworth on Tuesdays during summer months.

If you mean the intoxication rule, mean that only rules sets ratified while the adjudicators where intoxicated, that was thrown out in the interests of rule readability and the fact that it resulted in all players ending up in Bletchly Park and giggling at the word Bletchly.
So invoking the Morovian Cross-Over I move to Tooting Broadway.

Does anyone have a copy of Morgan & Stanley's "A Decade in Review", published in 2000? I have been unable to find a copy in my local bookshop, but I believe it clarifies this discussion as Kalmukaru states above.

I'm surprised that you'd leave a castling maneuver open - I propose that the train is paused at Knightsbridge and the imbibement reserves are broken out.

And you fell for it ... Imbibement can only be called in sight of a Turkish repastment facility. Penalty and I do believe that allows to complete the move to Angel.
