Originally by: CCP Mitnal Whilst I applaud the daring international bluff I'm afraid the aforementioned Minsk Treaty 1980 outlawed the international endgame hijack.
Mornington Crescent cannot be played for at least three moves following an international switch.
It's really the triple roundabout theory in reverse.
Dammit! Minsk is always getting in the way of my fun! I slide on over to Angel. -- |

Is it too late to join the game with Lambeth North? Or are we ruling out the 1970's expansion?

We've already agreed on the Remington abridged version 4, 2005 ruleset, hence the 1970s expansion is included but must be declared before playing.
As such your move is void.

If you want to find out about Mornington Crescent, suggest you read MC: The revised rules and ammendments by Arthur Rudge. Unfortunately, it's been out of print for a while, so you'll have to ask your local second hand bookshop.
Anyway I'll mosey on over to Bank, picking up a blue card. Hopefully, I'll be able to open the rigge tracks next move and thus advance towards MC. __________________________

I hope I'm still in with a chance, as I've been planning my next move on my commute home on graph paper.
Hopefully not too early in the game, but I'm playing Heisenberg's uncertainty rule.
Shepherd's Bush - pick one of Central OR Hammersmith & City line stations.
But you won't know which one until you go there, and when you do, it still might be the other one.

Ah yes but he does have a point on forward planning there. I take Hammersmith, as a key strategic point. -- |

Nice work, another double station. I travel along to Heathrow Terminal 4, where I should pick up some long distance milage interconnect points at least.
The BST rule above that caught me out earlier now counts in my favour for the summer holiday station interchange footfall rule bonus.

Nicely done, and extra points for avoiding the disaster that is Terminal 5. A key rookie mistake going to that one, I am sure you know!
Back along the same line to Acton Town, Not quite a double but it is a nice little fork -- |

Tottenham Court Road using Mackletons Old Varation version 4. This enables a double loop change-over at Victoria Park enabling Codgeringtons Perculier Gambit. This negates the Minsk Treaty, English Summer Time and Wendles Roundabout Rule.

Jeez, you guys are good.
I'm a bit stumped now. I'm wondering if I play East Acton whether I can go for the full West, North, East Acton surrounding ploy? (Doh! Why is there no "South Acton"??)
Hmmm, no, on second thoughts I think not, that's too risky.
I'm going to go for the Tucker-Alan-Benny triumverate manouver ... Grange Hill.

Same here, looks like they're making up routes on the London Underground, but that's as far as I can follow what's going on. Must be something Brittish.

OK, time for a late start. That being such I will go for the good old slow the game right down. 'Tower Hill' and even under the stated rule set force all players to reverse coarse or face official censor.

Remmington Abridged huh? In that case Oxford Circus. Note that the 1983 Berlin revision is not allowed under the abridged rules, thus making this a valid move.

Oh bugger, I was going to go to Moorgate next. I'll have to do a double shale hop to St. Pancras (I think that's valid, but I'm not sure, so feel free to correct me). __________________________

Aaah, but you're not taking into account the Moorgate-Euston disbarment rule are you? Even the most novice of MC palyers should know that you can't move to MC from Euston if the previous move was from Moorgate.
Instead, I shall attempt the Central Line Gambit and move to Stratford.

Of course it is, however 1992 Darwin Amendment allows it in this case.
