You could petition it, everything is logged in this thread, which usually acts as proof in character transfers. EDIT: or wardec hygd's corp and ransom ofcourse :)
Maver Rick	Posted - 2008.07.08 23:29:00 - [29] Ack, I was very disappointed by the turn of events, especially when it was confirmed via evemail. CCP needs to fix character auctions imho. The seller sent me some consolation ISK, but honestly doesn't make up for the inconvenience in real life time, effort, and ISk losses as I was getting the whole sum together I saw no worth for petitioning as the seller returned the ISK so I can't claim a hard foul.. I'm still willing to buy the character at originally agreed price if HYGD conscience comes back to him. I'd also return the extra ISK.
