Most the people I know play with Premium.
The performance loss is minimal to none even without a decent GFXcard. Even the 8600GTM on my craptop barely notices a difference

Umm...YES! Unless your computer is from the stone age you should be able to run it without a significant performance hit. Hell I run two clients and I still get 70+ FPS.

Also I want anti-aliasing!!!
Jagged ship lines completly ruin the beauty and immersion of eve.
Oh and better weapon effects, especially missiles. Better sound effects for would be nice too, hybrids especially sound a bit pansy.

More seriously, I'm a bit confused as to why HDR needs to be on for Bloom to be on - virtually every other game (thinking of Oblivion here) has one or the other. I'd like to see a separate Bloom option without having to turn on HDR. There aren't any problems with Bloom + AA, so it would mean less playing about with drivers.

I totally forget that the ships and weapons make noise. I don't think i have ever put the sound on since i started playing in january.
Sadly, i can't even enjoy the new graphics. I have an old 2003 computer. I put on the Trinity GFX and my frame rate is maybe 2-3 fps. Completely unplayable. I can't even imagine what it would be like in a fleet fight.

DX10 would be cool. I have no idea how they would/need/bother with implementing it. As of right now it looks great. Maxed out at 1920x1200.
