Phirephly's Jita Trivia has been running for around a month now, and the one billion ISK mark is looming close. So far, over 800 million ISK has been awarded! Unfamiliar with Jita Trivia? Here's how it goes:
- Look for Phirephly in Jita Local.
- If lag permits, he'll likely be running a trivia game.
- Be the first person to answer a question correctly.
- Win one million ISK!
It's simple, it's fun, and best of all, it's free to play!
For more information contact Phirephly in game or join the channel: Jita-Trivia
Jita Trivia is a non-profit game run directly out of my wallet. I operate on the donations of players as well as sponsorships. This is where I need some help! The billion mark is looming close, but unfortunately, my wallet is running dry. Help me reach this mark! There are three ways to help:
- Direct donation to Phirephly
- Material donation via contract
- Sponsorship from a corporate or event entity
Jita Trivia is a positive advertisement tool. On any given session, between 25 and 150 million ISK is awarded. With the captive attention of Jita, what better way to advertise, especially since winners will be looking for somewhere to spend their new-found money! I can supply logs of some of my previous trivia sessions. Please contact me either in this thread, in a conversation, or simply drop me an Eve-mail.

I've not sat in on an actual trivia game, but I've seen logs of the event after tossing a small sum of money in for payouts. Players appear to have played and been paid, without having to pay money in, with prizes coming from donors (like me), and my business was mentioned as a sponsor several times. Looks legitimate, will probably support this in the future, especially after I sit in on a session (let me know when you start one up by the way). At least someone is providing entertainment in Jita aside from the normal spammer/scammer/whiner sideshow =D
As a suggestion, you might want to talk about what, if any, money you keep for yourself, by the by.

Ah, yes, that's a good point. 100% of donations and sponsor prizes are directed towards payouts. I take nothing from this, as I enjoy running the game.

I was in jita today and noticed this trivia game thingy on local. Decided it was fun and played on to win 2 mill isk. Phirephly is an excellent host, proffesional and true to his word about winnings.
Very top notch stuff, i hope to see you in Jita sometime to hopefully win some isk, especially since everything is so damn expensive. Anyway best regards, if theres anything else i can help you with just evemail me. Cheers!

Phirefly's Jita Trivia is a fun way to pass the time in Jita with an alt. One day I made 12 million while just hanging out doing market price checks :)
And before you yell SCAM, Phirefly only asks for donations, so if you don't want to give back, it's no biggie. I gave about 5 mil of that 12 million back to help keep the game rolling. Of course I am something of a trivia junkie, so I like this kind of stuff.
People throw their ISK away every day on stupider things, so if you are in Jita and like trivia, look for Phirefly and play a few rounds. If you win, I encourage you to donate back...he seems like a straight-shooter to me.
Man, this sounded like one of those late-night infomercial ... lol.

i can vouch for this
phirephly's trivia is both fun and free... and he is as good as his word in sending the million-isk prize to the player with the winning answer
it's obvious that he's spent some time on putting this together, and i don't think it's asking too much to help him out
since i've won a number of times i'll at the very least return the winnings i've collected thus far

I haven't seen or taken part in this trivia quiz but I have heard about it from a corpmate.
Any event that takes the whine out of Jita has my approval.
Phirephly, I'll be in contact with you sometime today to see if there's anything I can do to help out with it.
All the best. _ Sec & Sat's Lottery |

I have gotten a few mil, its a fun game
except for when you say the answer and it shows up in your client first and then 10 seconds later someone else says it, but according to the eve server they were first (and no I don't see that as any sort of scam, just sit 2 clients in jita at the same time say something on one, and then note the delay between it showing up in the first client and the second, I have seen 20second delays before )

Jita trivia is quite fun. Glad to see that it's drawing more attention. It's a nice break from having to sit in station staring at "WTB" "WTS" and "WTLEARN ENGLISH".
