Ok so im sure of us have many (I know i do) but there must be this one time that really stands out, like the most fun fight you ever been in..
Most of mine were prolly the time i spent down in Stain, was just me and Stavros floating about, occasionally joined by a couple of ATUK; But it was hella fun we had some serious laughs down there. We had a couple of 2 vs 5's in what appeared to be the EV home system I think most of em warped out after getting into armour and we were still at the gate at the end. Was quality. I remember when evolution were upon venal and I was sooooo bored by the safespot sitting (being them or us ) that I was flying around alone hoping to get into a fight...
...I was approaching a gate and saw it activate, Zeus (?) from evol in apoc appeared about 40km from me. First thought was 40km is a long way to travel for a blasterthron and he might have help on the way but hey! ....I was bored
By the time I started hitting him gate started reactivating and local showed 3 more hostiles. Needless to say I killed that apoc and then decided to head for the gate, but was ultimately shotdown 2.8km from it ...just....a little....more...and...I'll....make it
Thinking about it afterwards since his pals didn't jam me and due to my 6caprelay setup at that time I could have taken out that shortrange warpscrambling scorp if I had decided to stay... oh well.
Eve has many dead periods, but the thrill from certain moments more than makes up for it.

Mine had to be the fight again tundragons, space invaders and zombie up in syndicate. It was a great battle, although no losses were really gathered on either side apart from one tundragon megathron. The best part about it was that there was no smacktalk and no hard feelings between either side (although we're obviously RP enemies you can still make friends with the enemy, which is nice [eep fast show reference])

God, I have sooo many excellent experiences and fun as hell ones.
Prolly the one that stands out most was up in fade fighting the old RSA.
RKK were 8 jumps out from a massive fleet battle between NORAD/DSIN/CELEST versus F-E/RSA/C0D.
We charged to the fight and jumped in. The friendly scorpions had all been destroyed and the enemy had pulled back to long range and were picking off the friendly forces even though they had less numbers.
RKK jumped in and instantly jammed the long range troops and targetted firepower on each enemy scorpion one after the other forcing them out. As they came back in, they were retargetted and forced back out again. This went on for ten minutes and eventually all enemy forces had to pull out.
All in all, it is probably the crowning moment of many great fights alongside my RKK compatriots.
It was the first time RKK had been part of a force that had beaten back F-E and it was also the last time we fought against the RSA as they surrendered to friendly forces, threw out the pirates and changed their name due to some lengthy negotiatons between Blacklight of NORAD and the RSA members.

Best ever - me+Omni+Zcinner sitting in Fountain waiting on a blob (me and Omni both know they are frigs, ~20 of em, Zcinner doesnt.) Zcinner starts whining how scared he is and that he has to go to bed and all that. Then we jumped in and owned every single one of them. Its not something to be proud of really, but it was the most fun i had in battle.

One worth mention here might be the fight teddybears had with MAFIA not so long ago.
The fight lasted for about 50 minutes at several places in the system. From gates to stations to planets and moons.
Its all recorded in our video. What dont show, is the respect i have to wards MAFIA after that fight. *bows humble*
Thank you again for that fight

That must have been the most boring fight for me, I was jammed from the first second to the last, fired exactly 0 rounds of ammo and 0 missles. And yep... Tenacha went down, he likes to ctd when missle are approaching him.
I'm not sure what was the most exciting fight, I had many good fights, but one I can remember was a fight agains 2 Armor tanked Steelvipers and their rupture support, we had 2 bs on our side so it was a fair one, I managed to warp out with less than half structure left atm their Megathron went down. We managed to kill their second ship aswell but only at the expense of a Scorp that was fitted for stopping... I should have known his fitting before giving him the command to hold that raven .

Since that day more and more are leaving, the guy that took over when their CEO quited EVE has on his turn quited aswell, and their corp is a mere shade from what it used to be.
Was hell of a fun week
Its nice to see that you find it FUN that to drive it so far that people quit EVE over it. You dont say anything about what kind of corp it was. Like, a newbie corp of 40 people have little or no chance stand up against experienced players, even just being two.

In last weeks my best fight was a mobile fight in 5-6 systems with 8 TDG/Teddy BS vs roundabout 30 Norads that didnt manage to merge in time . We took down 10 BS and lost 3 BS when they finally managed to merge and we finally got surrounded by their fleet and went to safespot because there was no way to score more.
I also loved the liberation of Fade and the NVA ore stealing operation in Venal. Pure fun to emty the 20 NVA giant cans without password while they tryed to setup blockades. Will never forget Pfffft docking in his Badger II with 10-50% hull several times.

I know sass its good when you have a decent sized frigate force and a few battleship targets together i like to use the look at command on the battleships and watch the frigs commencing bombing runs on the targets. Very satisfying. Its how a lot of the combat in this game should be like. Mixed fleet combat with more smaller ships is more fun just a bit annoyed to find that CCP are nerfing the small ships more and more each day. ----------------------- ╔╤╗╒╕╔╕║║/ ║│║╘╛║╘╝║\ ----------------------- |

Well i dont think of it as a nerf, you know yourself its VERY easy to take down a bship with only a handful of frigates, I think the combat system in eve now is getting more like the Dev team envisaged smaller ship fleets escorting the larger capital class ships, makes for much more fun and larger tactical engagements. And most of all LESS LAG all them bships with their big guns lag you out real bad.... Sass Arcane Technologies |

One of the best(their has been so many) happened a few days ago in egbinger....
a 2v2 honour match CELES against Curse forces..
darth solo and Cuisnart of CELES V 2 CA
an arranged fight me in a tempest and cuisnart in a mega against a raven and a mega... we killed both battleships, and lost none... it was alot of fun. no smack, we were fighting for honour, and both sides kept their word....
i wont give u names of our opponents, as they have my respect..
iv had alot of honour 1v1 fights, and they always stick out as your best moments, i hate ganking, and hate being ganked... wheres the fun in that?.

i would have to say that the best time ive had playing was when me and some mates were heading out to Great Wildlands to do some NPC hunting. anyways it's quite a few jumps so i put the auto pilot on and head off ... mean while im reading the forums while im travelling. then i hear the auto target going off and i switch to the game ... i was 1 jump into the GW and some CA guy was targetting me with his BB. apparently the thought 3 multispecs was enough to jam a typhoon. i thought him the error of his ways by ridding him of his ship in 2 solvos.
that was funny as hell. hope he learned something

Mine just happened this week, I wrote a short story on it as soon as the fighting ended.
I took the ship to solitude to pick up 800 Capacitor Injectors. On my way I got jumped by 10 frigate classes, Bombers and Interceptors. I, heavily outnumbered desisted to take the change at the other end of the gate and jumped out and on the other end I launched my drones and got ready for combat. The frigates started to come through the gate. I was being overruned and had lost control over many of my drones due to lag and me closing the drone control window when the frigates jumped into the system. I took out few of there frigates and warped to a planet, there the fighting continued and I saw that the fight was over for me, I started the self destruct system and tried to get the repair systems online to hold out the attack until the ship could destroy itself without leaving any loot. I ejected from the ship and warped out into a warp gate where my re-enforcement was jumping into the system.
Here is a list of enemy fleet and ships I destroy. Cathryn Wolve - Crow - alive Christo - taranis - alive Cmd Woodlouse - Claw - alive Der Ewige - Crow - alive Hyop - Ares - ship destroyed Numinos - Breacher - alive Ryan routine - Breacher - ship lost Sgt MadEnd - Kestrell - alive WotanKN - Taranis - ship lost Xfered - Kestrel- alive And last but not least, Polux - Typhoon - ship lost.
They had a fraps guy with them but to bad for all of us my drones killed him first of all the frigates .

I've got the unfortunate distinction of having been off-line for every good fight we've ever been in (with 1 exception), and online for every pointless blobwar and futile bit of gate camping and safe spot seeking.
The ONE good fight I was in was as my frigate alt, shortly after Castor. A bunch of lads (mixed bag of the old FE before it was a corp) had wandered up to Venal after they realized that most NVA members were running agents in empire, and all that were left were fat indys running Bist ore from the new roid distribution.
We got into a roughly equal fight near PF. They got a Dominix of ours right off the bat, but we then proceeded to whack their support cruiser with concentrated fire. The Scorp they had was doing an awesome job of damping our BSes until I got on it with a Griffin. 3 Spatials and 1 warp disruptor and then my mates popped him like an egg. From then on the frigate was first target of the BSes and only the longer lock times kept me in the fight at all.
I was super duper fun to be the only frigate in a BS fight. I'm sure it would have been better in an interceptor (they weren't out yet) but then it was also cool to be able to lose my frigate, go back 2 jumps to base and pick up another one. I laughed later to see a few fairly skilled pirates had set only my frigate alt, not the rest of us, to -10. Phear teh Griffin
I think I lost 2 or 3 frigates that day, combination of Kestrels and Griffins. 100% insurance of course meant I made a profit and since we controlled the gate I could get my own cans as they shot me down.
Sadly, it ended in boredom, with our 3 or 4 BSes staying at the gate, and their 2 Ravens and 1 Geddon warping in to a custom BM about 80 KM from gate, firing until their sheilds were down and then warping out. But the first 5 or 6 minutes was fun :)

Hands down the best was the last major battle in fade, i know we had over 90 people in local at one time 90% of them fighting. I missed the first part of the battle, thanks to some teddybears taking out my scorp but managed to get into a carcel and link up with rkk in order to get in to the fight. Was probably one of the most amazing cordinations ive seen, we were using both ventrilo and TS, had several taskforces channels going on in TS and well it was just damn good fighting

I too would have to go with the closing chapter of the RSA. Huff left F-E, and at that time i still considered many in F-E to be my freinds, so it was a little weird shooting at some of them. But at the end of the day it was a battle of epic proportions, and co-ordination from both sides was outstanding. If i remember rightly it lasted over an hour, and even after that there were small skirmishes.
It was suprising that the lag was not bad, for that many people in local! Good job CCP. I also made many new freinds whilst being up there, ohhh and almost shot a freindly ....damn gang colours not working right
After that fight, I have to say, it brought back my interest in EVE, I was starting to get a little bored. Then KABOOOOM! largest fight i've ever heard of or been involved in.
I also enjoyed m0o and evol coming to the forge area, when i was in F-E. At the time you did show up, things in that area were dead, and it kinda livend things up a little good fleet battle in p3, and being around that area with numbers constantly changing from both sides meant both sides look at new attacks and tactics, and new ideas are always good, even better to test them.

My favorite moment in the recent past was in EC-P8R when Mercenary Forces and I attacked a large PA gate camp. We had 4 or 5 high speed cruisers and a couple frigates, they had about 8 battleships numerous cruisers and a bunch of frigates, with more coming in every few minutes. The battle raged for an hour. We stayed at range and killed all their cruisers and frigs while their fleet of battleships shot at us the entire time. We had lost a couple cruisers earlier, but in that particular battle we only lost a couple frigs. I was very impressed with the Mercenary Forces guys, its nice to find people that are willing to fight against larger numbers.
