Anyways, all eve players who have sins(Retail or Pirated), should join Eve-Sins to talk with other Sins players and get some matches going, there's only like 4 of us so far, and we've been playing through hamachi due to pirated versions.
Anyways, if your bored of eve for abit, join the chan and get a game going, maybe make a bet on who's gonna win

Where do the games take place through, the Star Dock servers? I'll think about joining, when I can get past my morals and ethics.

We play using the Multi-player on the game, using Hamachi to connect to each other, we could play through the Ironclad online, but that thing has so many bugs and ccrashes so often, it's just not worth it.

Interesting idea, I would love to get a chance to play against someone alive, because for some reason i .... err.. cant get onto their ironclad online stuff. I suppose im not missing much there though ^^

Heh, yeah i can't get onto ICO either, but there's only like 90 people there at prime-time, so your right, we aren't missing much.
I'm sure we could get more people then that here thought, so join the channel.
Game starting in about 10 mins btw, if anybody wants to play a 3 way free for all, join channel now.

ATM we're just doing the Retail evrsion, however once we get more people interested, we can play with mods on and off, i admit the Mars mod is very good.

I wouldn't mind some multiplayer.. I play Sins Plus (heaps more planet types) merged with Bailknight's Graphical Mod. And for god's sake buy the game! Stardock don't put this Securom crap on it, therefore they rock.

Aye, Stardock definently deserves every cent you drop on their games.
Do get hamachi and come online, i'm still willing to play a round.
Oh, and for some reason i can't get any Mods to work on my copy of sins =(

There is nothing to say about this game, other then that it
suxx and is among most most poorly balanced RTS ever to
be released.
The only thing you need to do in the entire game is to
spamm LRM frigates. There is no effective counter against
them. A fleet of 3 capital and 100+ LRM frigates will own
everything. Not even a fleet of 8 Capital ships will have
a chanse against those frigates.
It looks nice, but thats it. Game is crap.
There is no price on true lojalty

thanks, i try to bump it when i'm online, but am busy.
Anyways, we just played the first 2 vs 2 match, TEC + Vasari vs TEC + Vasari, eventually we got into a huge huge fight and the game sadly crashed, still alot of fun thought.

You should know by now that most games that are released have to be patched at least three times to bring them up to pre-release beta standard. It's only by the time they get to the budget labels that they are anywhere near what they should have been on release.

You first need to apply patches 1.01 and 1.02. But those can be found too.
Personally I¦m waiting for Stardock to finish 1.1.

Had the game several months now - it is v good. What patches addons and extra content updates do you suggest i get from the retail version?
Would like to play this Multiplayer, but i feel it would take such a long time to play out.

Actually, sadly due to the nature of Returning Armada , we find the game usually crashes when enough people build up massive fleets, not saying this is always the case, but it happens.
Most games take between 1 and 2 hours thought.

I have patch 1.03 on mine and it still isn't fixed. Unless you use the 'unfair' mode that's now available. Anything below that and it's easy to beat with the right combo of Capitals and frigates, you don't even need the cruisers.
In single player, I wiped out a complete system in 90 minutes. You just have to be logical about your route so you only have to defend two fronts at any time and leave the multi entry systems till last. IMO, it's far too easy but on the unfair mode, it's totally stupid since you get attacked by an enemy cap fleet before you've even had the chance to do any research. You hardly even get a chance to get your primary base started with 3 or 4 frigates to defend it and they just come in and wipe you out. That's just more like totally stupid and completely impossible mode.
