Is there a way to see all characters on an account in the new API like you could before?
I can't find anything that provides the same result as Characters.xml in the new API. How are you supposed to check for alts??? |

account/Characters.xml.aspx still works and the same information is in APIKeyInfo.xml.aspx which is what I suggest using as you should be calling it anyway. Both of these will only display multiple characters if its an "account" key (by selecting "all" when you create a key). You can check this in the type field in APIKeyInfo which is one of the reasons you should use it over Characters.
My site, EVEVERIFY, for verifying apis of recruits will be converted soon. All features are currently free as its still in Beta but will be changing to a monthly fee soon. Some parts will remain free though. EVEVERIFY - A recruiting API Verification and Audit Tool

The " Apikeyinfo.xml " Contains a list of characters the api key gives access too, it also has a 'key' row containing whether the api is for a single character or account I have been a little lazy so havent tested with corporate keys yet.
I'm taking a guess here and saying the apikeyinfo.xml is going to take over for characters.xml soon. |

Was pushing for it while CAK was in testing, but was told no. But as far as any app is concerned, you are probably best off using APIKeyInfo as you probably need to call it anyway.
For corporation keys, you will only have one character active at a time and I don't think you have to pass the characterID anymore but probably should to be constant. APIKeyInfo will still return the character for corporation keys as well as the corporation that character is in. EVEVERIFY - A recruiting API Verification and Audit Tool

Thanks chaps, is there any useful page that lists what will/wont be in the new API? I can't find any documentation for APIKeyInfo.xml anywhere in the wiki and the "API Functions" at the bottom of this page just seem to list a hob job mix of past present and future .xml resources...
