Edited by: snutt on 22/05/2004 07:21:54 Ouch man.. 16*2 + 11*2 +8 +5 = 67 40 * 1.25 = 50 grid. 20*2 + 12*2 +15 +24 = 103 100 * 1.25 = 125 tf.
You are using a Aux to fit a CO-CPU.. that's kinda ironic hehe . I Havn't counting on your skills as I don't know them. But upgrading your grid to be able to use your lasers then to upgrade the grid *again* to be able to upgrade the CPU is.. blő. You'd be MUCH better of with 4x Medium something Pulse. See below; 11*4 +8 +5 = 57 (thus you need to fit only one Aux) 12*4 +15 +24 +15 = 102
This way the CPU is ok, and you'll still have 3 more lowslots to fit with what you want, like Cap Relays, you'll probably need it as lasers is quite capacitor hungry.
Small weapons need a look at . Same thing goes pretty much for every frigate aswell imo.
Anyways, hope it helps some. GL .

I would tend to agree. drop the beams.
A Crusader wants to get close . and longer distances you are easier to hit.
of course, depends what you want to use the thing for.
for agent work, 4 med pulses, mwd, aux power core + 3 cap relays.
for pvp it gets a bit harder... i would move to dual light beams and use a warp scrambler. (if you want to "tackle")
just my opinion of course. -----

Well, I wouldn't go within 10 km range from a missile frigate that usually has room for a webber.... Yggdrassil |

Seems a final setup is still out for the Crusader. I've posted my setup here once, which is rather close-range and that didnt seem to be the choice for most people. -------

Alright going for a Pulse set-up but which would be better?
4 Modulated Pulse 1x MWD 1x Warp Scrambler
2x Aux power cores 1x Co-proc 2 1x Cap Relay
OR
4 Pulse 1 MWD
2X Aux Power 1x Co-proc 2 1x Heat Sink II
trade off of going with the heatsink II and losing the warpie and relay.
