Hi,
would you do that? I'm not sure. If I fit a MWD on a blaster Rokh or a torpedo Raven, I think my cap is empty before I reach max speed. (I don't want to use cap booster - don't like them). And an AB brings not such a speed boost. Slot wastage imo. I would rather use this slot for other stuffz...
But is such a ship vialbe in PvP. Especially the blaster Rokh has to get in range. A torpedo Raven too....
What do you think?
Thanks, Secus

it all depends on the situation you are in however, a majority of the time you will NOT need an mwd and it will be a waste
you. need. cap. boosters. __________ -_- |

you want a mwd.
If you start a fight where you have to mwd extensively into range, you're probably in a disadvantaged fight.
For me, most fights are around gates, and enemy ships are usually between 0-30km off the gate. A quick burst with your mwd and you should be in range (esp with the rokh's range bonus).
And trust me, you need a cap booster. Its a life saver.

You ALWAYS want an MWD if you're using Guns. With missiles you have to ask someone elase. Also, you almost ALWAYS want Cap Boosters if you're active tanking and/or using Hybrids. If you don't use them 'cause you "don't like them" then you will fail and die over and over. Can I have your stuff?

No :P
@Cap booster: forget to mention....I want to use passive buffer tanks on these ships. So cap usage would only come from weapons (Rokh). And _if_ I use a MWD, after deactivating it my cap would rise again. (Don't bring up neuts now - I can not consider every situation )

If it's being used in PvP, it should have an MWD fitted. No exceptions.

M stands for 'mandatory'. Always fit a MWD, unless you KNOW why you're not. And even then, it's probably not such a good idea. -- Crane needs more grid 249km locking? |
