What other players do you speak of? I live on the east cost and run EVE fine. Not to mention how do you "disconnect" for just a second? Not to mention there are no US servers. EVE's servers are located in the UK. If there's a connection problem there's a good chance it's not CCP's fault. _______________

its west coast i believe. But it can't just be luck that 2 of my other mates crashed at same time and they are both on west coast. So can't be only me.

CCP does not own the internet. The internet is just an enormous network with nodes that belong to many people, including your own computer. Your message may go through as many as 10 privately owned lines/routers or more to get there.
This has been a reoccuring problem we've been hearing about. Chances are a router/line that controls traffic between a huge chunk of the US and europe is in some way failing and there's not much CCP can do about it besides wait. They can bring it up with their provider and hope they can get the message across to the problem. In the end it's still it's up to a random company that probebly doesn't even do direct buisiness with CCP to fix it.
Try this.
go to start, programs, accessories, comand prompt
Tracert "insert CCP's IP adress here"
It will give you a list of every router and/or computer your message goes through to reach CCP as well as how long to get there and if the message fails. Try it a couple times. Someone else will have to fill you in on the IP. _______________

There is only one server (cluster) and it's in England.
If you keep getting disconnected, you should try doing a traceroute to the EVE servers to see if there are any network problems from your end to the servers.
Windows: start -> run, type "cmd" hit enter. In the command prompt type "tracert <ip>" where the ip is the IP adress of the server (cant remember off the top of my head, but someone will).
Once you have the result, you can edit out any private IP information (your own) and post it here. I am sure some IT-geeks can help you identify any problems.
You may also want to keep running it, escpecially when you have the disconnects.

Do you have the same ISP? I have problems with Knology here on the East Coast US. When I complained they told me that "we don't have the technology to run games like Eve and WoW (EVE more so)" so I have to contend with the fact that Knology = FAIL

I can safely say no, with a disclaimer. %99 of the time I have uninterupted gameplay. However there are times when I'm farting around in game, usually during a mission where I lose connection for no readily apparent reason. I just write it off as an ISP hiccup, or my computer sucking. Then I have a slight emo rage as I watch the rats blow up my drones after I log back in.
