Ayures	Posted - 2008.07.13 03:34:00 - [1] So, I was ratting in my cormy today and came a across a Snake Epsilon, which I promptly hauled ass to go sell. Now, I have 191m ISK (as opposed to my previous 4) and I don't know what the hell to do with it. What ship should I buy? I need to know so I can start training now. D: I'm thinking some sort of battleship or battlecruiser... I dunno. HALP.

You'll need a large chunk of that money but once you set yourself up with a passive shield drake you'll be able to do any mission the game can throw at you. It seems like it's cheap enough that I could actually maintain and insure it, while having a bit of money left over. Out of curiosity, are they well-liked in guilds at all, or would I just be another ******* with a passive Drake?

If you cannot afford to replace your ship you can't afford to fly it. That being said; I would go with a battle cruiser (if you can fly one). They were always pretty fun to fly even as a newb. If you are a mission runner, I would buy a BC to run missions in then maybe some cruisers to practice your PvP in low/no-sec. Once you get your skills and experience up in the realm of PvP then fit a BC for pew-pewing.

Evolyze Caldari Provisions	Posted - 2008.07.13 09:07:00 - [18] Train up for a drake and mission away, earn more money to buy ships to pvp in once your skills have got better and invest some of the money into trading to make even more money and then buy more pvp ships to have fun in :) Drake with really nice fittings is going ot be under 100mill but then will be able to do any mission really, level 4's will take a while though untill you have good missile skills. Make sure you specilise in skills as well and try to keep to one race expections for a drake i suppose tho if caldari isnt your thing.

If you are pvping, don't buy what you can't afford to lose. Wait until you have a good way to make money before you spend on something expensive.
