Originally by: Caeneus I would say 100K a day is far too expensive. Essentially you will be severly hampering small production corporations for the excesses of the larger corps.
Simple fact of the matter is, there are far more players in Eve now than any other time, more players equal more labs. So implement more labs!
Of course, the larger corps will potentially just rent them all, so maybe a corp or player restriction is in order. When player structures come in, then the bigger corps can just build their own labs!
Increasing the cost is not the answer. Create more slots to rent. Let the economy grow.
Research time is long........ Shorting the Researching time then.

All well in good, if my blueprints would stop hopping into the neighbor's hangers after a production run.
I use copies so that if the bug strikes (and it still does) I don't lose my original. Since this has happened with an Interceptor Original blueprint, I no longer take chances. Originals of rare/expensive blueprints get max run copies to build off of, and no longer go into the factories at all for me.
Petitions and bug reports have gone into the vacuum on this issue, so until I see a fix in the patch notes, rare bp's get copied first before I produce anything. And the only way to enact this workaround for the bug is to have a fair number of lab slots to do it with.

Can I just point out that in the last four months since I've been playing the server population had nearly doubled? With all the free trials, the hardware upgrade and the E+B refugees... No wonder it's very very very very very very difficult to find a lab slot. They need to increase the lab slots. Thats it. The thing someone suggested about a lab slot being attached to a corp office as well sounds like a good idea.
