Will I have to wait 30 mins before I can walk around the station due to lag, then another 30 minutes to leave the station? It seems likely

Then there is the matter of transmitting it to all the computers and getting a reply in those same milliseconds. It's just a technological barrier we cannot meet at this time. Again, what are you basing this on? I assure you my computer could easily subtract 60 damage from a shield amount and notify the attacker of my total shield left
