I came across an Impairor in Soba jet can mining into a can that was not his. I observed from my pilgrim for awhile and the owner of the can was flying around in a Slasher and later a Cormy with a bio that alluded to him being a total noob. He was in SWA and was a 2+ year. "OH SHIT IT's a TRAP!" So, I decide to lay a trap of my own. I warp in my alt in a plated gank Cane while I run my main to station and get my Oneiros. I spring the trap and moments latter my Cane is jumped by a Kronos. We engage and at half armor I warp in the logistics. I would suppose that 0.0 ratting and 0.0 miners generate far superior ISK along with the possibility of decent loot, some of which sells in the $100M+ ISK range per drop. This is something you certainly do not get out of missions. LP does not compensate really. The ISK game is so dynamic these days, there are multitudes of options for generating vast cashflows. I think the real problem is not what is being made in ISK but what has already been made. There are untold billions of ISK just banked away on various characters throughout the universe. Sure there have been measures to counter much of ill-gotten ends but there is vast quantities of ISK that are unaccounted for due to laundering. So, in conclusion, don't hate the player, hate the game.

Thanks for trying to save my dignity but that one is long dead. Yes, I'm the Kronos pilot. Here's some clarifications about me : 1) My character is old but 1 year out of that age has been spent unsubscribed. 2) I usually change games often so I tend to avoid guilds (or corps, here in Eve) because I often get kicked during my breaks. I also play Eve mostly for fun and am not very interested in the "serious" side or whatever you call the whole corps & alliances wars. 3) I've spent most of my time running missions, but have turned into an ore thief about 3 months ago. 4) I've spent most of my ISK on collecting (usually crappy) ships. I kindof enjoy buying them more than I enjoy flying them, and I am the opposite of specialized as a consequence (intentionally). 5) I'm from Kisogo, not EBay. While I do get tired of Eve and take breaks, I'll never EBay my character because I always come back. Besides, I'm not poor IRL and only getting farther from it every year (but no, I don't buy ISK with real money). 6) I got most of my ISK (not that much) from running L3s, a bit from ore thieving and a bit from Jita trading on an alt. I've never really moved to L4s mostly because I hate the Raven with a passion (overused) and because I always hated the idea of facing warp scrambling frigs often, which are even scarier when you're in a crappy-targetting BS with turrets (which, unlike Ravens, I enjoy). The Kronos was originally an attempt at getting a turret BS that I would enjoy AND be able to run L4s with without having to worry much. I was still training to decent levels so I hadn't yet tried it in said L4s. However, having met a few BCs, a few BSs and way too many Drakes during my ore thieving career, I decided that my Kronos would be the perfect tool for killing them (my other PvP ship was a Rupture!). Note : I did get a few BC, BS and Drake kills before losing it, so at least the ship is immortalized in my killmails. 7) The setup on that Kronos was a PvE setup hastily-modified into a PvP setup (changed to blasters, added tackling, sacrificed the modules that made me capstable, added an MWD). Had I taken the time to fit it for PvP from the ground up, it would most likely include a cap booster, meaning I would've actually had the cap to permarep with both reppers instead of bursting with only one of them. It also means I would've been using neuts, not NOS, most likely allowing me to at least warp out after finding out I couldn't break the tank of a Hurricane remote repped by an Oneiros. 8) Where's mah faction lootz? You don't get any for a few reasons : as I said, I enjoy buying and owning (as in, being the owner of) ships more than flying them, so it's much more satisfying for me to buy a Kronos, fit it with T2, fly it in a few L4s and spend the rest of my ISK on other pimp ships (and fit them with crappy stuff also). Also, I'm wary of suicide ganking, so fitting faction mods on an expensive hull would only put both the mods and the expensive ship at risk (although I've managed to throw the hull away quite stupidly, without the use of faction mods, haha!). I hope that clears at least some of the confusion regarding the event described in the original post. I'll add more half-relevant info on me if I come up with any. If anyone has questions, feel free to ask. Btw Glazios, maybe you want to quote this post into your original one so that people actually read it before posting (yea right). Oh and good fight I guess.
