Wait, you mean you misunderstood my clarification for a justification (how do you justify a loss when said loss is not a decision but an event? lol) and now you don't give it your professional stamp of approval? Damn!
Note that the importance of a loss depends on the victim of that loss also, and that risking a bestnamed fit-T1 Kronos in PvP is a potential loss considerably smaller than undocking a faction fit Kronos to run missions, considering the possibility of suicide ganking.

I applaud your effort of explaining your loss and i find it quite cool that your willing to step up and explain it.
I hope youŠve also learned something i whould never have taken the Kronos before the Rupture, the rupture is king it can actually give the hurricane a run for its money (not if it got logistics support thought).

Also, the importance of a loss depends on the victim of that loss. For some people, it would be foolish to risk their precious Drake in PvP. For some it's their precious Merlin. Sure that was some crappier-than-crappy decision making on my part, but it's a risk I'm willing to take. It's how I play. Back when my costliest ship was a Ferox, I decided to buy a Hookbill for 45 millions and fit 3 purger rigs on it aswell as some T2/bestnamed modules to a total price of around 130 millions. Why? Because I thought "Hey, the Hookbill looks pretty cool and making a passive shield recharge tanked frig then having it collect dust in my hangar and never be useful would be pretty neat".
To you, losing 800 millions ISK in Eve may be something to lose sleep over. To me, it's like losing all my chips in a poker game with friends when there's no real money on the line. Sure it's a big loss, but it's a big loss of pixel currency in a 0% serious internet spaceship game.
If I were a sheep following the pack, I would go by the very old trend and add "EPIC FAIL" after quoting you at the end of my post, but that would be very boring.
you, sir, are a very rare thing on these forums. nice writing style

I have to agree. A well written post including a subtly disguised insult is much more fun to read than "GTFO" "no u" "carebear" and all the other oneliners that seem to be so popular these days.
Cheers for a nice read! And grats on the Kronos kill :D
