I plan to buy a armageddon for mining and a stiletto for pvp. What I was wondering is how people think these ships will perform post balance. I would test them myself but I cant fly either and definately cant on Test Center. Any info is appreciated regarding their use in pvp thanks. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v441/Dillinger4/Felsin.jpg |

stiletto after patch...hmmmm...
from a producers point of view. for the moment and a short time after patch i expect the sales going down. all the "nerfs" (better be known as "balancing") will push away people from interceptors. the next hit for them will be the introducion of "bombers" and "gunships". this will distract customers that used 'ceptors for this purpose. but i think, this will be the moment when the stiletto will find it's purpose (and people shy away from many other interceptors). - it doesn't do any good damage (not even half way decent) - it's fast - it has a decent set of midslots for a minmatar frigate - it looks like some Caldari found a Slasher BP and built it in his garage (ok..thats not a bonus)
anyway. i believe, the stiletto will be a winner after patch. but...i have to believe...since i got a BP

With cruise missiles gone from frigates, the stiletto's even handier either as support/catch in fleet or as 1 vs 1 against another frigate. If you know what race of frigate you're going to be fighting, you can equip 1 racial jammer, 1 stasis, 1 mwd and 1 scrambler and take out anything on 1 on 1.
Armageddon for mining in empire space is as good as anything except apoc.

1 race specific jammer wont jam any decent PvP frigate. BEtter to use a sensor dampener. +++
It's called "low security space" for a reason. |

stilleto ..well .. right now its a wonderful ship. ive gone 1:1 with most every type of ceptor and they usually ran away :s (ceptors have really weak radar)
after the patch , im not sure . if they nerf mwd's stilleto like all the other ceptors will be hit badly.
just remember , a wrecking from a battleship will still kick ur bum . -------------------------

I've never ran across a frigate packing backup arrays. Only 1 interceptor with sensor strength of 7 I believe.

A Rifter/Kestrel also has 7 Sensor strength, Vigils and the other EW frigs even have 11.
