For PVP purposes screw destroyers. They're only good for a handful of very limited roles. Try a cruiser. Blackbirds are nice support for a gang. You'll always be the first thing any hostiles try to kill but with any luck they won't be able to hit you anyways. Don't really bother trying to PVP solo in a Caldari Vessel bigger then a frigate though.

If you are training into medium hybrids then the Mos is the ship to go with.
First off the Caracal is not a good PVP ship. Second it's caraCAL not CEL. Oh and it's Moa, not Mos

You can PVP in just about any ship. A very experienced caracal pilot can kill an inexperienced thorax, stabber, vexor, or rupture pilot. Doesn't mean the ship is any good for it as a whole. Especially considering the inexperience of the OP.
Also I don't know about you but whenever I make a typo I can feel my hands hit the wrong key even if I'm not looking at what i'm doing. Oh and there's "ignore" and "add to dictionary" buttons for spell check for a reason. Use them  .
