Divulge. I'd say you had an obligation to reveal any reasons for your resignation unless they were of a personal nature. If you feel eBank is no longer adhering to its principles, or cannot effectively continue, it's best you divulge that now.
Quoting this.
Also, from Ebank's perspective I believe there's only one thing worse than full disclosure of a potentially dramatic story - and that's the kind of hinted-at, thinly-veiled 'I was privvy to internal discussions, I don't think things are going in the right direction and I'm so concerned I've removed my iskies from the whole project' going-on here.
So will one of the two parties tell us what went on? I think there're strong arguments for both obligation as well as damage-control/PR.
EDIT: Oh, and I like a nice bit of juicy dramagoss as much as the next person, ofc ------------------------------------------------- Caeleste naves interretis res gravissimas sunt |

tldr; version
1. The lone voice of reason has left EBANK. 2. EBANK is essentially Ricdic's personal fiefdom. 3. Most everyone else on the board is too pre-occupied and/or scared/useless to say "boo" when required. 4. EBANK is utterly useless at communication and could seriously do with a media course. 5. Oh, and PP is here to save everything with his own, unique brand of apology.
What did I miss?
This is genius. ------------------------------------------------- Caeleste naves interretis res gravissimas sunt |

I wish EBank directors would learn not to argue or flame in official EBank threads. It makes the issue much worse.
You even point out about communication issues above. You guys need to stop all posting with your opinions and just have one voice.

It doesn't make this thread any less genius though, does it? ------------------------------------------------- Caeleste naves interretis res gravissimas sunt |

EDIT: All I need now is a post from LaVista Vista and I can die happy.
1. Yes nobody else argues or speaks up at all. What will Ebank do now. 2. Actually Ricdic has spent every Ebank Isk on spirits and slaves. I dont even know how we hande withdrawls anymore. 3. Yep to scared here. 4. Working on communicatoin, but some of that was false as said by me, hexx, and I think 1 or 2 others. 5. I never appologized for joining Ebank and never will. I will appologize for my IPO failing, but I also did the best I could with my situation. And I posted multiple times I am in the US Navy and things come up beyond my control, multiple times. ALL INVESTORS new this.
So wait... It's "I don't even know how we handle withdrawals" and "[I'm] to[o] scared [to speak up in board meetings] and "[We are] working on communication". But at the same time, it's:
Originally by: Proton Power I am not a director, I am not even paid as Ebank Staff, I am not a board member.
Lots of "we" and comments about speaking up in board meetings - at the same time as being only a consulting role and not being staff, and not being on the board.
So, everyone clear? Good. ------------------------------------------------- Caeleste naves interretis res gravissimas sunt |

Originally by: SencneS Proton posted four posts on EBank's board of Directors posts with plans, operational details, profit projections, risks and concerns, ways to back out of the plan. In a way Proton did more work before he was approved for 30% of EBank's holdings then anyone elseÆs IPO plan I've seen. All the directors know in detail exactly what Proton has spent that ISK.
Originally by: Proton Power What I think your doing is crossing the idea I am running an IPO in Ebank. This is entirely false.... I am not running an IPO, I am helping Ebank make some isk.
Can I make the point again about coherent external communications?
Or is it too close to the last time I made it?
This is rapidly becoming farcical. ------------------------------------------------- Caeleste naves interretis res gravissimas sunt |

I wasn't a shareholder in PCT.
However I guess I'm missing something here - why should the ex-shareholders of the closed PCT IPO get to vote (even if it's a foregone conclusion) on whether PP should continue to act as a fund-managing-non-employee-part-time-consultant-not-really-director-board-discussion-participant for EBANK *after* the wind-up of the PCT IPO?
I mean, I don't give 2 hoots either way, I guess I'm just missing the connection. ------------------------------------------------- Caeleste naves interretis res gravissimas sunt |
