As the massive Minmatar fleet entered Amarr, PIE was nowhere to be found. In fact, every time they had gated through the gates towards Amarr, the CVA ships warped. Only two battleships were killed on the way out of scores of PIE and Blacksheep ships. And as the fleet entered Amarr, safespots were warped to, and stations were docked at. And the once-glorious CVA fleet ran with their tails tucked between their legs from the fleet that they have long declared to be weak...
Sqalevon: The scales are starting to tip in our favour more and more.
Gaius Kador: We've been outnumbered long. I'm impressed by the size of your fleet, yet you do not inspire much fear.
Silverlancer: We probably don't inspire fear because its pretty safe in that station of yours...
Gaius Kador(hiding in his station shivering in fear): I'll feed you those words, Silverlancer.
I wish that we had had a real fight... we even brought a cameraman hoping that there would be a glorious battle to film. But you have again deprived yourselves of your honor by running away in the time of battle. Next time, CVA, I hope you give us a bit more of a fight before safespotting. Silverlancer out.

Well, the CVA has been asking after the "storm" for some time....
Here it is my slaver friends.
I think Silverlancer's comments are a little harsh.. the pathetic CVA showing was completely out numbered and out manauved. i was impressed at how well the surviving PIE Battleships managed to run from our massive fleet.
Whats happening these days? Your hearts really don't seem to be in it anymore. You guys going soft?

Yes we had a nice big fleet that traveled quite a bit looking for CVA to fight..
I'd prefer if Silverlancer did not speak on behalf of the Minmatar forces however, especially not in SA/CA smacktalk style.

Silverlancer your words are harsh a fight between the forces of the CVA and the Minmatar fleets would of resulted in complete decimation of there force. Not a thing I would be particulary proud of! We drove them from there 'patrol' of Minmatar space and I took some nice pictures of the status in Amarr with my tribe so I'm happy. -----------

Yes - I can but imagines the cries on their comms when they jumped through to find another equally large force on the other side.
It is true, we cannot expect them to fight such odds.
I am sure the emporer will not be best pleased, Amarr was left wide open for us to attack your slaver convoys and liberate many slaves.
I do hope Golan enjoyed the view from Vakir station this evening.
Until the next time, perhaps you willl think twice about raiding our space.
You make light of the divisions in our people, between th eclans. Tonight we showed you that the bonds between us, fighting for a common purpose are growing stronger. Before, we could not hope to fight th elarge CVA fleets, now, we can scatter them to the four winds.
Change is coming, change that began with the new republic.

Your gathered fleet might have impressed me, but your lack of class disappointed me equally.
You might have held the field for once, yet you made it clear to all why your ilk will fail and falter before the Divine Will.

It's so sad to see that the misguided Caldari from the Northern Intelligenz seem to have less honour than the Minmatar rebels. It's also sad to see the Northern Intelligenz to be a part of the Stain alliance.
This will for the moment not effect my standings towards Stain nor towards the Caldari State as I do believe both dislike the actions of this corp. It would be better if Northern Intelligenz would join the PRM (it seems they call such scum welcome as allies).

Don't be so hard on Silverlancer. I feel the same frustration at having so much preparation go into this day and no battle to come out of it.
I've seen much smack talk from CVA and no one gets down on them for it. It seems normal for them to talk down to us Minmatar, but when we get a fleet together, we see them back down and dock.
I don't want to hear any more smack talk about defending Amarr to the death. We beat you on the battle and you retreat to Ashab, and when we don't follow, you smack talk.

So the Amarrians smacktalk ? That doesn't mean we need to respond in the same immature manner, not in local nor on the forums... I use the word "we" loosely seeing as PRM has afaik not taken part the smacktalk.
Edit: Ardor: PRM does welcome NOINT fighting CVA, as far as I know they are not scum, but even if they were we would not mind them killing CVA and CVA allies.
As to them joining PRM, I'm sorry but I don't think you'll get your wish there, I doubt they'd be interested and afaik they're Caldari for the most part, not Minmatar.
I personally would prefer it if PRM allies did not smacktalk nor post topics such as this one, but frankly it's not really any of my business, and I have no say in what they do.

Do we really need a Caldari loud mouth speaking for us? And in such a childish and meaningless manner?
Good show my brothers and sisters, but please do not let such dogs as Silverlancer spoil your victory with his ignorant speech. As Gauis has said, these things ebb & flow, and we have all seen the CVA doing much the same in Minmatar space.
And yes, this is an alternate identity. I'm afraid I cannot post these sentiments regarding Silverlancer under my normal identity. I've spoken them before and was ignored.
(OOC: can we at least have a Minmatar RP'er speaking about these events, instead of some smack-spouting-knob who's been involved in these wars for a total of what, 2 weeks? Come on guys, wheres the RP in anything Silverlancer does? Even Iceblocks better at it than him!) |

For your information: I am not a part of the CVA. I am Dark Amarr. Less than 24 hours ago Golan Trevize accused my pilot Sister Wheya to 'spread the word of Satan' while she was teaching my doctrine. Nevertheless I wish the CVA the best in their fight versus terror and piracy. We have more in common than in contradistinction but we are not allied. I also have no connections to Stain. We might have common foes but we dont have any kind of deals. I accept Stain as they never attacked my pilots unlike the CA who (not all CA corps) attacked us even outside CA space for no reason. The Caldari State and the Khanid Kingdom have friendly relations. This is from where I am coming from.
Usually I don't interfere in discussions regarding the 'CVA vs terrorists' as I am not involved. But if a Caldari and a member of the Stain alliance talks about burning down amarrian cities then I am questioning the position of the SA and the Caldari State towards Northern Intelligenz. And it will become of my concern as I will not sit and watch anyone throwning bombs on Athra and helpless civilians. I think Caldari will understand the reason why I interfere.

Hmmm...where to start.
1) I would love to see the ship comms logs of us smacktalking 2) Yes it *IS* normal for us to talk down to you, you *DO* remember the EVE prime fiction, right? 3) Its perfectly acceptable to dock when grossly outnumbered, to inferr none of our enemies have ever done it would be complete rubbish

No, there is a difference between smacktalk, and proclaiming ourselves as "Protectors of Amarr, once again, chasing off the rabid dogs of Minmatar" with our chest puffed out and our comments full of pomp etc. Its kinda what we do as "proud Amarrians".
Finally, congrats on last night, seems you assembled an impressive fleet.
(OOC - I like the ebb and flow of these battles, some nights we win, some nights you do, as ever, it is how the battle is reported and depicted in these forums that decides whether it will be viewed by the other residents as another interesting twist in our story, or a bunch of leet kids hurling abuse. Silver's comments have dragged your entire report down, imho cheapening the entire event. I dont know about you lot, but its always been my aim to have fun and try and create and take part in events that the other EVE citizens will have a blast reading.) Edited by: Golan Trevize on 24/05/2004 08:07:56 Tih Ahh there is a difference between quoting the scriptures in fact most of the times the lads are told to shut up and only a very few of us speak ,and acting like a 14 year old Gallentean punk with snot dripping down his nose. In PIE we have strict rules all new members are told these in their very first interview.....
Act with honour and dignity at all times. Never engage in smack talk or mudslinging contest in local. Never spy or infiltrate enemy corporations. Acts of Piracy equal immidiate expulsion and adding to KOS list. Do not use Noncombatants as spies.
To be totally honest i knew this day would come from when we first recieved a DOW from a non Minmatarr corp we have now recieved 2 more from non Minmatar corps , one even has a Amarrian in it (14 wars in all).
The Gallente ideals of Freedom, Liberty and Equality will be met by the Amarr realities of Lasers, Armor and Battleships. |

You've answered your own question. Clearly the official censors need to study the filthy foreign films in some depth to estimate the damage that they would do to the moral health of the Empire were they ever to be released. It's a tough job, but somebody has to do it.

Not much else needs be said here, but I'm going to stick my meddling Gallente nose into the situation anyway.
For those that were disappointed that our dozen or so vessels did not engage a fleet of 30, you cannot have your cake and eat it too. If you want a fight, then use those third-party spies ( ) to determine our fleet composition and bring an equivalent force. If you want to drive us back and pour forth immature filth in local space, then bring odds that no sensible fleet commander will engage.
You made your choice.
As has been pointed out, there's quite a difference between the PIE fleet rolling into Pator bringing wisdom and enlightenment to any who will listen, and last night's bandwaggon fleet of "freedom fighters" talking their heathen garbage in local space. As for those of you with whom I cross swords with on a regular basis, I'm sorry that you're being lumped in with these chowderheads.
As for myself, I remained behind the enemy fleet in the hopes of sniping some stragglers. I tickled Vinknut's shields with a volley of shots that I would classify as "amazingly bad," and I downed a hapless kestrel. My humble apologies to those that were hoping for a showdown...cooler heads had to prevail. The "cooler heads" were Golan, Light Kominski, and every one of my pilots reminding me every 2 and a half minutes not to do something stupid...
The fight continues. Expect me when you see me...

It was a fun evening, starting off with some mining while i was trying to watch some kill bill 1 :) but we soon heard of CVA forces roaming around Minmatar airspace, a Oracle fleet was gathered to meet up with the PRM/FOM fleet. The only thing that was between the PRM/FOM and us was the CVA fleet :) so we waited till they jumped trough and hoped for the best, humongus ruptures in time space thanks to all the massive CVA ships jumping in ( read lag ) made it a awkward sight and the few tacklers we had, had a tough time tying CVA's fleet down. One armageddon was unlucky and was taken down in a mater of seconds.
Together with the PRM/FOM fleet, we persued the CVA into Amarr taking down Khyan's Apocalypse. CVA's fleet ended up scattered and broken while our fleet ran as a smooth engine. The ussual yap yap was exhanged in Amarr ( silverlancer, if u ever do that again ****** ) and some pictures were taking at the Oris station at the Statue.
The Oracle fleet decided to move to Baviasi to see if there was any Imperial Dreams at home, they were, but the door was slammed shut and we soon decided to return home, then we got word that Golan undocked from his station in Pator so we pursued him without much success ( kudos to the fun evening Golan :) )
We showed that we fight back, and with success
Sqa out.
