I've gotten burned by ATI one too many times. Sorry ATI fanboi's, not interested...
I'll always take computer hardware/drivers that are more reliable over slightly better performance any day...
ATI sucks IMO. I've given them multiple opportunities to prove me wrong, they have failed every time. (except for 9800PRO, their last good card)

Yes, the error was buying ATI cards.
I have very little problems with NVIDIA cards.

That's one thing I don't do anymore. I buy cards that are 1 generation old, I no longer pay for the newest hardware (except for work computers, as that's not my money). Games are not that important to me anymore...

Well, I honestly don't keep up anymore. The newest card I have at home is an ATI X1800XT.
At one time, I used to upgrade my gaming rig like every 6 months. Looking back on that now, that's silly...
