I think BOB just went after the ex-Tri regions because they believed they would be poorly defended in comparison to homeland regions. They found a few fringe RA systems that weren't defended but I think BoB is now looking at the dilemma of either getting bogged down in messy sieges or abandoning MAX which would not go down well with megalomaniac leaders.
It will be interesting to see what happens from here. THIS is really the golden opportunity Goons wanted, they have a large number of BoB capitals that do not have the luxury of the Delve fortress. If NC/RA/Goons plan to massacre the capital fleet it would be a crushing blow for BoB.

I cant help but wonder how things wouldve turned out if Nc helped out Alice as a North-friendly alliance instead of letting ra get in there since theyll never lift a finger to help anyone but themselves up there.
Why should NC make decisions on who should hold space that the NC does not plan to contest? Why should they get involved in non-NC conflicts? If the NC was telling you that you couldn't take over some space then you would be posting on CAOD complaining that the NC is protecting weak alliances who don't deserve to hold space.

BoB would have struggled to remain the entity it is without them.
I don't think anyone could hold out without them long enough to matter if enough numbers show up at your doorstep. The problem is not so much CJs as to what is a better system to prevent EVE turning into timezone wars.

Looks like Plan B has gone into effect with BoB taking some vacated RA systems.
Should be interesting how this pans out with the NC having targets that can't run away to counter attack. This seems to have progressed beyond the MAX parameters, will be interesting to see if BoB defends these systems if big strike fleets come or what their plan will be when multiple systems start being hit.
I think BoB have avoided any large scale fights where they haven't held the field of battle or held significantly larger numbers, the presence of their own POS' represents immobile targets for the enemy.
Will be interesting how it plays out. |

THEY ARE SEIGING I30 YOU CLUELESS TROLL.
(caps = cool)
Settle down Bitter, time for you to put down your Tri pom poms and pick up the BoB pom poms.
Who cares what system they are sieging? They have started to take sov in a lot more systems which is not really in the MAX blueprint, the part of "we are not looking to take space" part at least.
I am sure they will be sieging a lot of systems while the NC is reinforcing Hyrdra space. When the NC turns it attention back on BoB having more stationary targets creates a different environment to before, it "hopefully" could lead to something more interesting either way. |

How many systems did BoB hold back then vs how many do you hold up north now?
What I am getting at is the more space you grab the more you get locked down with the same strategic dilema a defender has in terms of which systems do you commit assets to.
It is bound to make things more interesting. |

1) BOB has been taking RA systems since before they left
I don't really care what systems BoB takes or who previously owned them. It is more about a change of direction within the scope of the MAX campaign I am referring to.

2) They had targets for alot of time now but they can't be bothered
I assume they were playing defensive given the MAX campaign was built around inflicting damage. I think as time passes they will realize that MAX is a ruse for an intention to take and hold space, which would account for the lack of significant damage and the taking of sovereignty.
BoB has either changed direction or are pretty incompetent, I am just assuming the prior, god I hope so at least. NC will then have to look at BoB's force in the north as an invasionary force rather than a raiding force. That would require a fairly different strategy I would think.

3) Hope dies last
I neither hope nor care about the entities or who holds what space, it is all pretty irrelevant to me. Between BoB, Tri and NC I think NC have a significantly higher ratio of nice people to moron ratio and for that reason alone I would like to see them crush BoB and Tri.
Whether they do or not largely depends on if they want all the space they currently hold or not.

4) You wish u did
Such clever wit coming from someone who has to abbreviate a three letter word... not really. But keep trying, you might stumble onto something. |
